Chapter 42: Suspect

Kashi's POV

"I request access to this person's location" 

I narrow my eyes as I ask

"Kakashi, you know I can't do tha-"

"Lord third I dont think you'd like to be reminded that if you don't assist me in this, you will lose one of your best anbu black ops and the best boy in the village"

I speak calmly, simply reminding lord third of my threat

Lord third was quiet for a bit before nodding slowly in defeat

"I'll give you their location but that's it, any other information, you'll need to get by yourself"

"Good choice"

I speak as I watch lord third grabs a pen and write on a scroll

"Here"

Lord third passes the scroll to me and I gladly take it

"Thank you" 

I nod and sunshine away

I stand on the roof of someone's house and open the scroll

"Interesting, well you better be ready for an unexpected visitor"

I mutter coldly, I close the scroll and jump off the roof

'I should go tell Naru where I'm going first so he doesn't worried'

I think to myself, running to Naru's house

I jump onto the window sil and enter the house

"I'm baaaaack!"

I call out, leaving Naru's room

"MISTER STALKERRRRR"

I hear squealing as the blonde rams himself into my stomach, hugging me

I smile gently as I hug back

"Hello Naru-Chan"

I look up and see Iruka walk toward us, I wave at him 

"Hello Iruka, nice hair"

I smile, pointing at the chunin's now braided hair

"Oh uh thanks Kakashi"

Iruka smiles sheepishly with what I think is a hint of blush?

"How was the meeting thing with lord third?"

The chunin asks, changing the subject from his hair

I pick up Naruto 

"It was decent, I some information and Lord third is holding a meeting soon so thats good"

I say, suddenly remembering the scroll in my pocket

"Speaking of which, I have someone to see today" 

My eyes narrow, I set Naru down on the couch

"Who are you meeting?"

The small blonde asks, eyes wide with curiosity 

I smile softly

'Cute'

"Not sure, just someone"

I respond

"Okie, stay safe Mister Stalker"

"You know I will" 

I pet Naru's head and smile at Iruka

"Until I see you two again"

I dip my head and sunshine away
