Chapter 65

Avni faints. Vaish and dadi was worried for her. Dadi was scared as well. Vaish took water from side table sprinkling on her face. Few seconds later. Avni got her conciousness

Dadi (hug her tight, concerned): Gudiya you Okay?

Avni apart the hug and nodded

Vaish (cups her face): You fine bacha?
Avni: Hmm

Avni somehow gathered all the courage and stood up from bed. She ran to Washroom. No doubt her feet were paining like hell. She was hissing in pain. Tears wasn't stopping. Even feet started bleeding. She ran to washroom and threw up everything she ate from morning. Her condition was miserable. Vaish and dadi too got shock and went behind her. They saw her throwing up

Dadi quickly went back in room and drag the chair toward washroom. Vaish and dadi make her sit on chair. She was sobbing violently in pain

Vaish (worried): Dadi, I am here with avu. You please go and call doctor
Dadi (worried): Hmm.....

She went out of washroom and saw Ad, Abhi was in room all tensed

Ad (worried): Maa, what happened? Avneet is fine nah? From where this blood came?

He said pointing to the floor. As there was blood which was bleeding from avu's feet

Dadi (sobbing silently): Aman call dr fast. Avneet's condition isn't good

Ad nodded and went to call the dr. Dadi went back in washroom and vaish was helping avu in cleaning face

After a minute, they three came out of washroom. Abhi saw vaish. Looking at her worried face, he understood avni's condition isn't good

They make avu lay on bed. She was sobbing and hissing in pain. Still her feet was bleeding. Dadi and Ad tried to clean the wound but listening avu's voice in pain they couldn't.

After some minutes. Dr came with servant. Dr saw avu's feet

Dr (shocked): How this happened?
Dadi: She ran to washroom for threw up
Dr: But I told you for at least 15-18days don't let her touch her feet on floor. Her whole skin of feets is burnt. It's not normal. For normal burnt also person need to careful but for this you need to be very very careful or she may loose her feets. I mean to say she won't be able to walk if there be carelessness. As blood will not reach till her feets

Ad and dadi nodded. Abhinavi was stunned by doctor's words

Dr: I need to give her heavy dose. So that she will be unconscious. Only this way I was clean her wounds and use ointment on it. I am not bandaging it. As her wound need air. Bandaging isn't good

Dadi nodded. Avni's sobs and hissing wasn't stopping. Dr injected her. After a minute or two. She was unconscious. Dr was cleaning her wounds. In unconscious state also her hissing was unstoppable

Vaish hug abhi, hiding her face as she was able to see her condition. Abhi was looking down not knowing how to face it

Dadi was sobbing and Ad was looking at her daughter's angellic face which has alot of pain now. His heart was paining. Tears slipped from his eyes

After dr completed the work

Dr: I applied ointment on it. Now be very careful or consequences aren't good. As she has fever. Don't give her heavy food. If she don't want to eat. Just juice or soup will work. Medicines which I prescribed yester night. Same will go
Ad: Thank you Doctor

Dr smiled

Abhi: Dr how much she need in recovery?
Dr: If care will be 100% then around month I can say. As per today's condition. Then formation of new and getting strength back which she don't have now and medicine and dosage won't help in getting strength now. So for that 10-15days. I guess 2months will go and she can walk, run properly

Abhi (nodded): Thank you

Dr left with servant

Abhi: Uncle, dadi I guess we should leave now. Avneet need rest now. These rituals can be done later on and Anyways we need postpone the marriage

Dadi just nodded not knowing what to say. Vaish kissed avu's forehead before leaving

Abhi went home. Ad sat beside avu. He wiped her tears. Kiss her forehead. Tears roll down his cheeks. Dadi asked the servant to clean the room and sat beside avu

Ad (sobbing): Maa, she just went to her in laws house that too in emergency. For just that she is suffering this much

He hug avu and was sobbing. Dadi was silent all the time

Meanwhile with abhinavi. They went home silently. As they reached home. They saw whole family was in living area discussing about sidneet's marriage

Sm: Here they are! Vaishu come-

She stopped in mid as she saw the things was in abhi's hand which was suppose to be with avu after ritual

Sm (worried): You didn't completed the ritual? What happened? Is everything fine?

Vaish nodded in no with teary eyes

Sid (worried): What happened bhabhi? Avneet is safe nah? Dadi said something?
Abhi (sighed sadly): Avneet isn't safe Sid. Mom and dad, we need to postpone this marriage
Harsh (concerned): Bhai, but exactly what happened?

Abhinavi shared everything with family. Everyone was shocked

Abhi (irritated): But I guess Avneet is lying
Priya (confused): How? And bhai why she will lie?
Abhi: I don't know why but I thinking she lied to us. See the piyu, her both feet was burnt. Suppose aadi touched on something like that.... leave aadi, suppose Arshiya did. She is just a week old but then too feeling the pain she will remove quickly in no time but Avneet, when her one feet touch the burning coal rather than stepping back. She took other step as well towards the coal. Didn't she felt pain?
Vaish (understanding point): Yaa abhi is right! And even the way her feet was burnt. It looks like coal was stucked to her skin and that's not possible in a second
Harsh: Yeah! That's correct like rather than stepping back why she took another step

All sat silently for a minute or two digesting everything

Sid (breaking the silence): Mom, I am going to meet Avneet

He was about to go

Vaish: Sid don't go. She need rest and now too she is probably unconscious as doctor injected her with heavy dose

Sid went to his room

Priya: I will go and see
Harsh: No! Give him sometime priya

Priya nodded and sat

With Sid. He was getting worried for avi. He took out his phone and was about to her but Vaish's words rang in his mind. So he didn't

His eyes fell on wallpaper, which has his and Avi's pic

Sid (looking at her pic): What happened to you? You didn't even shared with me. That's why your voice was muffled at night. You can't even share with me. That's how our friendship is!

He laid on bed. Many thoughts were roaming in his mind
