"Holy shit." My mouth dropped as we entered the hotel we'd be staying in for the few days we'd be in Spain.
We all had our own rooms.
Luca made sure we were together, of course.
While Cj made sure he'd be with Josie.

It was currently 6 am, 12 hours till the ball.

"You need to sleep." Luca said, setting down our bags.

I sat on the couch, putting my hair in a low bun.

"You, need to sleep." I remarked.

"You're exhausted. I have to run with Cj and Josh for business, i'll wake you when I get back, sí?"

I rolled by eyes, "sí." I nodded back.
He smiled at me before coming closer and raising my head by my chin before leaning down and pressing his lips against my head.

"I love you." He mumbled against my skin.

"I love you more."

He pulled away and left.

I decided it'd be best to sleep. As Luca said.

I stood up but was hit with a wave of nausea.
I held my stomach as I winced in pain.

I made my way to our bedroom and laid in the, overly large, bed.
Sleep should help.

"Baby..?" I heard a faint whisper.
"Cassie...Wake up."
I knew that voice.

My eyes slowly opened, Luca's hand was petting my hair as he looked over me with a smile on his face.

"What...what time is it?" My voice was hoarse and groggy.

"4:15 To be exact."

God I slept for so long.

"Did you get any sleep?" I asked him, sitting up straight.

"Mmhm," He hummed, "A few hours."

"Jo was looking for you, she wanted to go shopping." He laughed.

"You know I hate shopping." I groaned, pulling the covers further up, and over me.

"I know. She went with Cj and Josh."

I suddenly groaned as I tried to sit up more and against the head bored.

"Are you okay?" Luca asked, cupping my
check with his hand.

"Yes. I'm fine."

Liar.

"Cassandra, cut the shit. You're pale and you're obviously in some sort of pain."

"Way to state the obvious!" I sarcastically smiled.

His mouth opened but I cut him off before he could speak, "No. Okay, i'm still going to the ball." I protested.

"Okay." He nodded.

"Ok?" His answer took me by surprise. "Since when is Lucalius Elliot this easily convinced?"

"Okay. I know you've been looking forward to this for months. Even though you're not feeling well and going is not in your best interest, if you really want to go, you may."

"Good."

"Come, we should start to get ready." He suggested.

"Mmhm." I mumbled, pulling myself off of the bed and letting my feet hit the cold floor.

"Tell me, What's a ball like?" I began, walking towards the bathroom with Luca following close behind, "Is it like the movies? With all those fancy, ignorant, rich people? No offense." I shrugged.
