My leg bounced up and down anxiously as we drove out to Seths main base, full of his data, men, and Alana.
It was about a hour away and the time was just hitting midnight.

Right as we pulled away from the house, Josh went over the plan again.

Nicole and Josie were originally supposed to stay at the house and hack into their secretly systems, but everyone agreed they should be there.
Nicole and Jo would stay in the Van and hack, they also provide us as the get away car, just in case.

Cj, Josh, and Micheal's men would enter first.
Followed shortly after by Luca and his men, Micheal, and myself.

Our objective was to find Seth and Alana while Cj and Josh steal data.

I've trained for this for months now.
I'm strong, and confident.
But a part of me felt guilty.
A part of me was scared.

Am I a bad person by taking these people's lives?
Yes they're horrible people, but what if they have wife's or husbands, or kids to get home to?

But Seth wronged me.
He hurt me in the worse way a person can be hurt, and Alana was the cause.

And why?

Why did my mother return after all these years?
Why did she want Seth to kill me?
Did Seth want me dead more when he found out about Luca and I?

It's funny how everything tied together.

Seth was paid to abuse and kill me two years ago.
Yet, he was always at war with Luca.

If it wasn't for Luca, I'd most likely be dead already.

Seth wouldn't dare to kill me just yet.
He's not scared of Luca, but he should be.

"Hey baby," Luca suddenly whispered in my ear.

I'd noticed a mer 30 minutes had gone by.

Casual conversations sounded throughout the car between Cj, and Jo, and Nikki and Josh.

Luca's hand gripped my knee, stopping the anxious shaking.

"Whats on your mind?"

I pressed my lips together, taking a deep breath, before turning my head from the window to meet the gaze of his emerald eyes.

"Isn't it funny?" I whispered.

He gave me a confused look, "Funny?"

"Yeah...Seth was going to kill me.
I was in love with a man who abused me, day after day.
And my own mother hired him to do it.
I didn't know what love was at that point.
But you.
You Luca, you showed me.
I was beat down and broken, and you just waltzed into my life and saved me.
You showed me what love feels like."

I wanted to be as honest as I could with him.
Maybe we'll die tonight.
The world is full of never ending, horrid surprises.

"God, what are you doing to me?" He sighed, tracing my collarbone with his finger tips.

"You gave me a soft spot." His nose scrunched up, I let out a laugh as I ran my hand through his messy black hair.

"You can still be a dick when you wanna be." I shrugged.

"I love you." He pecked my lips before pulling away.

"What is it?"

"What?" I asked, confused.

"I can tell there's something else that's bothering you."

Was I really that fucking easy to read?

"What if these people...these people whose lives we'll take tonight, what if they were supposed to return home to meet their wife or their husband, or their kids?" I trailed off.
