I was laid down on the floor using my hoodie as a pillow when Russia breaks the silence by asking me something "you think people have noticed we're gone?" "Of course idiot" "why is no one looking for us then?" "I dunno, maybe they're too dumb to figure out the elevator is down" "did you check if there was an emergency button?" "Yes, you saw too" "what do we do to pass the time than" "stop asking questions" "fine"
"..."
"America-" "Stop asking questions" "it wasn't gonna be a question-" "stop talking then" Russia huffs and rolls his eyes

"what if we never get out of here?" I ask "we will probably die of dehydration or something if that's the case" Russia answered, sitting down crisscrossed "...yknow, I never actually got to know you" I stated while glancing at Russia "you never wanted to get to know me. No one did." "Well I remember you were in my last year of high school, everyone was scared of you then" "people still are now, only difference is that now they're better at hiding it" "..." I mean,  almost felt bad for the guy, but still can't say much since I did the same as everyone else. "You know, you're not that bad" I tried to reassure, he raised a brow at me "what about me is not so bad?" "Well first off, your accent is very hot" I chuckle looking up at the ceiling "you kinda remind me of my brother, Canada, they're just a bit shorter than you, they like hikes and going to the woods in spring" "wait, Canada? Canada is your brother?" I sit up, slightly curious "yeah..?" "You know Ukraine? He never stops talking about that guy. Canada that, Canada this, it's like he's obsessed with them" "oh, you haven't heard? Ukraine and Canada are datin-" I t r y to explain before he cuts me off "Wait what?" "Yeah, it's been like 2 months now since they started" he just sits there, dumbfounded. He lays back, questioning life's meanings. "What? Is it that surprising?" "It all makes sense now" "yep okay big guy" I laugh and lay back down

There's silence for a few more minutes of us getting comfortable or something. "Wait, are we going to have to sleep here?" I pop up, realizing "yeeep" Russia casually answers without moving "." I'm going to have to sleep, in an elevator. What has my life become? Russia glances at me "the power won't turn off until 7:30, until then we can figure out how we're gonna sleep." He says, trying to make me feel better "the elevator could fix itself once they turn the power back on so don't start whining about how many days we'll be here" he explains.

I look at him, scanning him from top to bottom "aren't you gonna take off your sweater?" He eyes me, smirking "what? you want me to undress while at it?" He says casually- I feel my cheeks heat up, "nevermind you pervert" I turn away, trying to get comfortable on the cold glossy floor of the elevator, turning and repositioning but nothing seems to be comfortable. I guess Russia noticed because he said "yknow, if you're cold, you can sleep on me~" I glance at him, tempted to. I rethink my options and sigh. Walking over to the taller country that was laying down, slowly laying down next to him "don't get any ideas, I'm only doing this because I'm cold, not because you said so" I say.

He smirks "whatever you say" he pulled me on top of him, hugging me. I glare as a  response.

After a few minutes, my eyes get heavy and I close them, drifting off to sleep.
