A roar in the night

Chapter 7

Errors POV we dug up the eggs pulling the soft dirt away we both laid down and waited for them to hatch slowly they started getting more and more cracks until little nose popped out we could see it's tongue flicking smelling the air it pushed its head out far enough to see it's eyes we looked at them in surprise it's little pink eyes shining with joy now seeing the baby we can tell it's a boy I smiled touching my nose against his he squeaked happily I pulled away and looked at nightmare in slight worry knowing how hard it will be for him because he's an albino... my worry was quickly snatched away when another egg cracked just enough to see a glowing yellow eye staring up at us a quiet hiss could be herd I looked at nightmare amused then said (someone has a bad temper) I joked nightmare laughed soon the albino baby was out of his egg drying off he ended up having wings and the insides were shining a pale pink and the yellow eyed baby had his yes another boy head out flicking his black tongue angrily he was black with some lighter shades of black patterns like his father and he has a yellow stripe coming from his eye all the way possibly down his neck and side I lifted my head up in surprise when he shot wings through the shell (looks like he has wigs too) he stretched them out showing the Beautiful black insides that were glimmering a beautiful blue purple colour he stood up shakily then fell over grumbling in grumpyness
Nightmare snickered the other eggs started cracking but one caught our attention having it cracking in to different spots instead of one we continued watching it until two! yes two heads popped out one being black and the other being mostly red the red one looked angry and the black one looked scared almost her light purple eyes making her look almost blind she had dark black patterns on her face and soon I could see a wing huddled close to her face I could tell the were both girls the red one screeching angrily I bumped my nose with hers and she shut up liking the attention she had super light almost silver brown eyes with darks red patterns in some places I looked towards the last egg watching as the shell cracked more and more after about ten minutes the egg cracked almost completely in half I we both watched as he opened his eyes and looked at us his blood red eyes shining he chirped happily his tall fins rising a little I looked back at all our hatchlings nightmare and I spent the rest of the night coming up with names for our little terrors

Five hours later

Nightmares POV I walked towards the pile of fish picking up a few a running over to error and the hatchlings that were hidden I stuck my head into a bush placing two fish down soon our little terrors came and tore them apart I lifted my head up and turned to face my love giving her a fish she took it and thanked me we both started eating we had come up with names for our little terrors the red ones name is carnelian the one with yellow eyes is named phantom the girl with purple eyes is named dawn the one with red eyes is Grayson and finally the albino is named ghost after we all finished eating our hatchlings wanted to play so we let them play with our tails because even though there teeth and claws are like razor blades they aren't strong enough to pierce our scales after a couple hours we lost track of time and noticed it was almost sundown so we called out to our little terrors that had run off to catch a squirrel that somehow got in here carnelian ran up to me the squirrel in her mouth vary much dead the others soon caught up trying to grab it from her she growled trying to sound fierce of course she didn't but the others backed of error chirped telling our hatchlings it's time for bed by now the sun has almost completely set and you could here frogs and crickets chirping and croaking making a nose noise soon our little terrors fell to sleep in our arms both of us soon fallowing

Errors POV I woke up hearing phantom screech in fear carnelian was awake and alert and nightmares shot his head up in surprise I smelt the air and could hear voices and the weren't those nice skeletons that's for sure they sounded older and none trustful I stood up growling so did nightmare we both stood protectively in front of our little terrors carnelian and phantom hissing ghost and dawn chirping nervously Grayson standing his ground his eyes scanning around for the slightest movement then it was silent too silent until something shattered the glass wall keeping us inside something was thrown in and gas started come out of the object I hissed loudly nightmare roared in fury more and more of the gas's filled the inclosed space the more I breathed in the more tired I got soon my legs couldn't support my weight and I fell over I heard nightmare hiss loudly before he to hit the ground soon my vision went dark and all I could here was the faint sounds of alarms going off
