31 : unexpected

"minhee! hurry up!" she shouted

"ugh.. slow down please.. my feet are cramping" he groaned

it was only 9am and they are at the hallasan national park visitor center, they took the shortest trail called eoseungsaengak trail. it will take them almost 30 minutes to arrive at the top of a volcanic cone with views of mount hallasan

the hiking course is less than 10 kilometers. and it's actually easy to climb up and back down in a few hours. along the trail they can see thousands species of plants and animals

she wanted to hike up all the way to the peek but minhee keeps complaining that he gets tired so they decided to just walk at the trails and didn't actually climb to the peak

as they arrive at the summit, they get a clear view of mount hallasan thanks to the nice weather

climbing down they exited the national park and went to their next destination, seongsan ilchulbong. which is also known as sunrise peak

"we are climbing again?! tell me.. are your bones made of metal? are you not tired?"

"we are not running.. we're just gonna take a walk and besides it will only take up to 30 minutes.. please.. " she pouted

"ugh fine"

so they started walking to the peak of seongsan ilchulbong. along the way they took more pictures of them, including when they were at the peak, because they get a nice view of the island and the sea

"okay i've had enough of climbing now let's go down" she said while rubbing her feet

"are you okay?"

"yeah. im fine-"

"nope you're not. come here" he gave her a piggy back while climbing down the peak

"does it still hurt? he asked as they sat down on one of the benches

"a bit"

"let's rest here for awhile" he gave her a water bottle "thanks"

few minutes later things got a bit worse when she started sneezing and her face turned pale

"youngie.. you okay?" he asked as he crouched in front of her holding both hands

"im fine.. im just i bit tired. can we go back to the hotel?"

"okay, let's go" he turned around, still crouching

"you don't have to, i can walk-"

"don't be so stubborn. now come on"

she climbed onto his back and they head back to the hotel

he gently laid her on his bed because she was asleep. he placed his hand on her forehead and luckily her temperature is normal

he pulled the comforter so that it covered her body from the cold air conditioning
