05 : amusement park

minhee's pov

i sighed and throw myself on the bed. it is saturday and i don't have anything to do. i turned on my phone and remembered the text with hwayoung

"pabo pabo pabo!" i ruffled my hair in frustration. i feel bad for leaving her alone yesterday. i decided to do something as an apology

i took my phone, keys and wallet. made sure to locked the doors and left

hwayoung's pov

"youngie! he's here!" i heard my brother yelled as i was fixing my hair. i took one last glance at the mirror and went downstairs

"selm, i have to go now. bye!" i hugged him

"have fun on your date!" he teased

"shut up!" i throw a pair of rubber slippers at him and ran out

i got inside the car and noticed it was an uber."where are we going?" i asked as i wear the seatbelt. "wait and see" he chuckled

"wow this place is crowded" i mumbled

"hold my hand so you won't get lost" he reached out his hand and we intertwined our fingers as we entered the park

we had so much fun playing with the bumper cars, camelot carousel, ride the giant loop, french revolution and aeronaut balloon. i wanted to play more but minhee suddenly felt sick so i rushed him to the toilet

when he got out, his face is pale, sweating and hands trembling. "that's enough for today. let's get you home" i wiped his sweats with tissues

"im hungry" he whined

"let's go to your place and i'll cook something for you"

we left the amusement park and went to minhee's apartment.this time we had to take the subway because i had no time to wait for uber

[ apartment building ]

he unlocked the door of his apartment room and i laid him on his bed. "take some rest. i'll wake you up when im done with the food"

i went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. luckily there were ingredients to prepare something for him. i cooked a small portion of chicken soup

"that smells good" he grinned

"sit down. the food is ready" i turned off the stove, poured the soup in a bowl and gave it to him

"i never knew you can cook" he complimented

"self taught" i replied. then i heard my ringtone go off. it was my brother

"minhee, i have to go now" i said "noo" he whined

"i'll see you next monday. take care okay?" i ruffled his hair."okay" he pouted

i was putting on my shoes when i felt a pair of hands on my shoulders and turned me around. minhee trapped me in between his arms and inched his face closer.

"minhee?" he didn't answer and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. "thanks for taking care of me" he grinned. "uhm.. you're welcome" i smiled shyly and quickly left.

my heart beats faster and my cheeks were burning. what just happened?!
