11 : thanks for everything

she ran and ran until she approached minhee's apartment. she knocked on the door for a few times and finally it opened

"hwayoung? what are you doing here?"

"can i stay here for tonight. please?" she begged

"okay but why?"

"i'll tell you everything tomorrow" she said while panting heavily

"don't tell me you ran all the way from your house?" he took her inside and locked the door

"yeah i did" she was about to sit at the kitchen counter when suddenly-

"aaah! minhee what are you doing?!" minhee was carrying her in a bridal style

"you need to rest" he carried her to his bedroom and laid her on his bed

"have you eaten?" he asked. she nodded as a reply

"okay now sleep" he said and laid beside her

"i..can't" she stuttered

minhee turned to face her. he slithered his hands on her waist and pulled her closer to him. hwayoung gasped at the sudden movement. she was now facing his chest and she could smell the sweet scent of his perfume

"im here. im always here for you. just close your eyes and drift to dreamland" he kissed her forehead

and they both fell asleep in the same position. her small body in his embrace wrapped in the blanket

the next morning minhee wakes up and hwayoung wasn't in the room. he thought she already left but heard noises from the kitchen. she must be preparing breakfast

"morning~" he greeted

"morning. go take a shower and we'll have breakfast"

"i will but you should probably join me. it'll save water" he giggled and ran away with his banana milk 

"kang minhee you pervert!"

they spend the whole day cuddling on the sofa watching netflix. when it was over they finally turned on their phones so they won't be disturbed and she noticed serim's message

"minhee. i need to tell you something"

"hmm? what is it?"

"years ago, my dad almost had to close his company because he wasn't able to pay debts so wonjin's family decided to help on one condition.. "

*inhales* "i have to marry wonjin"

"okay nice joke" he chuckled

"no minhee no. im serious" she stated

"so.. y-you are gonna m-marry him?"

"yeah.. this year"

"what?! why so early?"

"i don't know. i didn't want all this. it's all happening so fast" she cried. "minhee.. please.. i don't want to". she laid her face on his chest, crying

"we can't do anything about it. it's your parents request" he looked up, trying not to cry

"but i don't wanna leave you"

"me neither. i don't want you to leave me like my dad did. but i also don't want you to disobey your parents"

"hey, listen to me" he lifted her chin and wiped her tears. "it's for the best"

"promise me, you'll live happily with him. okay? give him a chance"

he smashed his lips on hers. slid his tongue across her bottom lips. sucking and nibbling it, savouring her lips for the last time. they pulled away, breathing heavily
