06 : the confession

minhee's pov

"youngtae! you already there?" i asked through the phone

"yes! don't worry everything is gonna be okay" he replied

"what is she doing now?" i asked again

"doing her work. but i noticed she would glance at door. maybe waiting for you" he teased

"okay whatever. we better do it now!" i ended the call

[ in class ]

hwayoung's pov

minhee is absent today but i don't know why.  i assumed he was still sick so i didn't bother to text him

i was reading my biology notes when suddenly..

"hwayoung!! there is something you should see. come with us!" taeyoung suddenly shouted

"why? what's going on?!" i asked as he was dragging me out of the school.

more shockingly, the security guards didn't stop us. they even smiled at him. what is going on?...

he finally stop in front of a small building outside the school. it was Starship Cafe. he closed my eyes and we entered the cafe.

when we were inside and he removed his hands and i saw something on the wall that surprised me. the wall was decorated with the words :
"will you be my girlfriend?"

"hello hwayoung" someone said my name using a mic. i looked at the direction of the voice and saw minhee. he was standing on a platform beside the counter

"the next song that plays is dedicated to you" he smiled while looking at me and music started to play.

as he finished singing, tears streamed down my face. he got off from the platform and walked towards me

"i did what i had to so know i need to know your answer" he spoke softly while holding both of my hands

"if i say yes? -"

"good because i won't take no as an answer" he wrapped his hand around my waist, closing the gap between us. his head inched forward and he smashed his lips softly on mine.

"i love you, hwayoung" he rested his head on mine

"i love you too mini" i snuggled my face into his chest
