"TOMORROW," BROOKE started, "you're going to learn to avoid things leading you to the forest. And I'll teach ya."
⠀"But how?" I asked.
⠀"Don't question my methods. Do you want my help it not?" The petit girl retorted. I thought about it. I desperately needed her help. I really did. "Well?"
⠀"Fine, I need you help," I crossed my arms.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀- - -
⠀I woke up from a satisfying slumber. The clock on my cellphone said 12:09. I figured it was twelve in the afternoon, but boy was I wrong. It was in the morning. I got really confused, but realized I fell asleep at an unusual time for myself, right o'clock.
⠀My warm bed had no sheets on them. I get very cold very easily, especially at night because I'm very vulnerable. How could I have slept like this? Something felt extremely peculiar. There were no covers around my bed, even!
⠀I looked around the room. It looked like mine, but the feeling in this room didn't. I punched my pasty skin. It was real. I opened my door into an odd-looking hallway. Not like the one at home. There were different colored doors although out the hallway. I scampered to the turquoise colored door. I politely knocked. A hushed voice muttered something I couldn't understand.
