A Poem in Seven Parts

그의 눈을 통해

Mornings.... A beautiful part of life which we always ignore and just move on for continuing our new day. Hah~ a new day! Sometimes it's special, sometimes it's the same, sometimes it's hard, sometimes it's just nothing. For people a new day has various definitions but for it to be a better day, it always requisites satisfaction and contentment.

It was a same morning for Jungkook, the night has gone, the sky is clear and blue as the ocean, the sun shining brightly giving few lighter shades of yellow to the blue sky. There was nothing new, the same bickering of a new couple from the side apartment, same traffic horns and sounds, same birds chirping on his window. But the way Jungkook sees it makes it all different from every other morning. His eyes have so much experience now that even the mama bird who is picking something from the baby bird on his window seems new to him. The kitchen that always seemed the same was now glowing more than the other days under the bright sunlight coming from his window. Standing on his balcony makes him feel that it has been so long since he drank any tea standing on his balcony noticing the cars and vehicles going in opposite directions on the highway.

Nothing new just the same old but the feeling was different. Different because it's another new day. Looking at the clock and calculating how much time remains to leave, he proceeds to get ready for today too.

"Hmm camera check, lenses check, portable storage drive check, travel tripod check, memory card reader check, reflector kit check, gaffer tape and gray cards check and what else, what else? Ah my phone!"

Jungkook picked his phone and called his assistant, Ms. Go. She was basically training under Jungkook but she was sharper and stricter than him.
"Ms. Go, is everything ready? Where are you?"
"I'm already at the destination sir!"
"Ah good, and did you get the permission letter from the librarian?"
"Yes sir, I already did it yesterday and emailed you."
"Haha alright I'm coming!"
"That's why I added 'sharp' in the text yesterday."
"Well you can't get annoyed at your superior haha, I'll be there soon."

Jungkook locked the door of his apartment, picked some coffee from The Go Cafe Store, took a taxi and headed for his destination.

"Hmm the weather seems too quiet lately, didn't expect the sun to last this long. Hah~ let's see when will the rain come back."

Looking out of the moving vehicle's window, everyone wonders one or two things about whatever they see. Jungkook only sees the unexplored about everything. How these walking past trees alongside the vehicle looked like the moments we passed by just like that. They hold a deep meaning but we never really bothered to look deeply upon them.

These smiling faces of kids playing in the playground presented youth and zeal which we adults have long-lost in this day to day hectic lifestyle. Teenagers going to school looking tired because of pressure and burden but at the same time carrying the excitement of being young and wild. Hah~ there's so much more than we know.

Checking the location online on the map, Jungkook spotted the old library. The library had a decent appearance from outside as Jungkook looked at it in excitement. He entered and saw Ms. Go talking with the librarian, Mr. Hwang. He goes there to the reception where Mr. Hwang used to sit.

"Ahh this is my superior Mr. Jeon. And he's the librarian here, Mr. Hwang." Ms. Go introduced.

"Hello Mr. Hwang nice to meet you."

"Oh nice to meet you too, Mr. Jeon have a seat. I heard from Ms. Go that you want to shoot some of your work here. I hope you get what you are looking for."

"Thank you very much." Jungkook smiled and stood up to look around this huge old library.
