Chapter 88 - Homecoming

Dean wiped his face, nodded a bit and said, "I guess you're right. I just don't feel it yet."

"Tell you what. I was going to go down to the surface and buy some presents for the girls with our reward money. I think you should come along and buy things for Maggie yourself."

"Reward money?"

"You don't remember?" Sam asked. "Tarsa gave us each 1000 g's as a reward."

"No I don't remember that. I guess I was too far out of it. Anything else?"

"Yeah, an orb we can take with us and place it wherever we want. It will make a portal back to here. We can bring the girls to visit too."

"That's pretty cool."

"Yes it is. So come on, let's go shopping for the girls so we can go home."

"I can't buy Maggie's forgiveness with presents," said Dean.

"Of course not. You're going to buy presents for her because you love her. If you feel better about it, wait until things are right between you before you give them to her."

"What about the rings? We were going to do that right when we got back."

"I think we should wait. I'll wait with you. We should do it together. You let me know when it's okay. We'll take them out on the town and do the rings. We've never been able to take them out before."

Dean nodded. "Okay then. Let's go shopping."

Jensen's POV

This was the third time we've been to visit the girls although we don't really need to keep the demons believing Sam and Dean are still around. But visiting them was actually getting to be fun, and a welcome break, though a strange one, from long days of shooting. With Eric's help, it didn't take us more than 10 minutes to make the trip, and spending a few hours here now and then was no real hardship for us. And on top of that, we worry about the girls and it was time to check in on them.

Katie and Maggie were great girls, and after seeing what they are made of, I couldn't imagine better mates for our alternate egos. We were sitting around the table in the study catching up on each others doings, when all of a sudden there was a rumbling noise like an earthquake, though nothing was moving.

"What the hell?" I heard someone say in my own voice. Both girls screamed and yelled "Oh my god" and "You're back" and "You didn't die!"

They both jumped up, running to their men, Katie into Sam's arms, and Maggie into Dean's, jumping up on them, wrapping their arms and legs around them. They were all kissing like crazy, and their hands were all over each other. Both couples were spinning around in circles. It was madness.

Maggie laughingly said, "Dean, we have company." Dean stopped swirling her around, setting her feet on the floor as he looked over at us, his face expressionless. "Hey," he said in greeting. "Anything serious we should know about?" he asked Maggie.

"No, nothing that can't wait," she answered, and she winked at Jared and me.

"Well then, you'll have to forgive me, but I'll meet you formally later," and he grabbed ahold of Maggie, pushed her against the wall forcibly, and they began kissing again. Then Maggie pushed his jacket off his shoulders and it dropped on the floor. She grabbed at his shirt, making the buttons fly everywhere, which made Dean counter by ripping off hers. She pulled his tee shirt over his head while he practically tore off her bra and threw it on the floor. I heard her mumble something about remembering they have company. She jumped back up into his arms while he turned around and took another look at us with the sheepish face I knew so well how to do myself.
