"Sammy is your brother then?

Dean tried to open his eyes. He thought he did but all he saw was a blur, like a Van Gogh painting. He just kept concentrating on breathing. He didn't really like Van Gogh anyway.

"If Sammy is your brother, he's badly hurt, we need to get you both home where we can tend you." said the far away voice. What's your name, son?"

"Dean," he whispered, as his eyes closed again, and he went back into sweet oblivion.

Katie and Maggie

Katie sent Maggie to get their Mom as she wanted her opinion. She had been watching the monitors for three hours and she found they all had pacing patterns. She wanted to capture Georgie because she was sure he would talk, and intel is what they needed desperately.

When Maria got there she was briefed on what was happening, and Katie explained the pacing patterns she had picked up on. "But I'm not quite sure haw to take the best advantage of it.

Maria watched for about 20 minutes and said, "You're right, there's a window when these two are both farther over to this side. That's when you can strike."

They discussed how they might be able to do that, and came up with a plan. Maggie painted the demon trap and Katie gathered the rest of what they needed. Everything was ready when Garth called and said he was just leaving the rental car place. "Okay," said Katie, "Listen." She told him the plan they had devised and what his part would be. Everything was set. All they had to do now was wait for the demons to be In the places they wanted them.

Sam and Dean

Dean opened his eyes. He didn't know where he was. A young female voice yelled, "Papa, he's awake."

Soon a nice looking elf who was a very bright green entered the room and said, "Ah, young man, good to see you awake."

Dean looked at the elf, who was smiling broadly and decided he liked him on the spot. The elf came over and checked Dean's bandaged areas. "You got very lucky, you know," he said. "Another fifteen minutes and you'd have been gone." He sat on a chair by the bed. "Your brother was in even worse shape. It was touch and go there for a while, but we think he's out of danger."

"Sammy," said Dean, trying to get up.

"No, no, no, don't try to get up, you'll pull your stitches, and some of them are in strategic places."

"But Sammy…"

"He's holding his own," said the elf gently, "but he's still unconscious. My wife and daughter are caring for him. Believe me, he's in good hands."

"Thank you," said Dean weakly. "Thank you for helping us."

"No need to thank us young man. It was the right thing to do. Are you up for a little food?"

Dean thought about that and nodded, "Maybe just something light," he answered.

"Ah we have just the thing." He nodded to his daughter and she left the room. "Name's Filgrin," said the elf, "Jono Filgrin."

"Dean Winchester," said Dean, without thinking.

Jono smiled slightly. "Strange name for hereabouts," he said. "Might it be possible that you have travelled here from a very great distance?" he asked.

Dean looked at him curiously. "You said your name was Filgrin?" asked Dean.

"Indeed I did," Jono answered, "But please, call me Jono."

"Jono," said Dean, his voice still weak from blood loss and pain. "Are you the keeper?"

"That I am," he said with a strange look on his face. "And I've been hoping that you two were the Chosen Ones ever since we found you."
