"hello?? who is this?" i asked after seeing how an unknown number's calling me right now.
"nahyun? are you- i mean, are we okay?" the girl asked which got me confused at first until i realized that this was actually eunjin making my eyes widen.
"what did i even do wrong? i can't believe that you didn't even bother calling me last night ... i was waiting for you to call me for the entire night that it was making it hard for me to sleep." she says in a sad tone making me bite my bottom lip since i completely forgot about it after going clubbing ...
"oh yeahhh i was actually about to call you about that because i wasn't feeling good last night so my mom made sure to get me to rest without anything that'll distract me from resting??" i couldn't help but make up lies in an unsure way since i'm actually a bit scared of how she might react to this.
"ohhh is that so?" she asked before going uwu all of the sudden.
"if that's the case, do you want me to come over? i can even bring snacks for you." she asked which made me start thinking about what the others said about what i should do about eunjin.
"the thing is i still have to do homework with my classmates today since i couldn't do it last night ..." i said while feeling bad for her since i've been pretty bold with declining her invitations these days.
"we can hang out at your place tomorrow though since it'll be a sunday though because??" i asked as i wait for her to finish my sentence.
"you're gonna be able to do whatever you want for the whole day??" she asked making me laugh.
"yeah, that's pretty much what i do during sundays." i said just as i remembered how she's literally calling me from an unknown number.
"by the way, who's phone are you using to have this conversation with me?" i asked before eunjin starts laughing all of the sudden.
"it's my new number actually ..." she says making my brows furrow out of confusion.
"why did you change your number?" i asked as she let out a hum.
"to be honest, i'm still pretty embarrassed as to why i just had to change my number so why don't i just keep you curious about the actual reason instead?" she says making me go in awe.
"ohh ... okay?? that's pretty much fine by me since it's just about changing your number, it's not that big of a deal which i'm assuming." i said just as i took a mental note to save this phone number.
"anyways ... i've got to go now so make sure to keep taking care of yourself okay? you shouldn't get sick or else i'm gonna have to keep worrying about you." she says as my facial expression couldn't help but sadden because of all these lies i've actually been able to come up with just so i won't have to keep hanging out with eunjin so that i'll be able to give her a sneak peak as to what would usually happen once i leave.
"alright, i'm gonna have to save your new number now ... what should i name your contact though?" i asked just cuz i can't think of anything right now.
"a contact name that will make me stand out from others i guess?" she asked which made me laugh since i had expected that answer from her.
"hmmm okay i got it now." i responded pretty quickly before i couldn't help but smirk since i thought of something pretty smart right now.

oh i get it now, i should grab something to eat, browse for a good anime series, and then not do my homework since it's meant to be done at the classroom cuz cramming is basically how you sum up what i do on a daily <3
