to my love,

my heart yearns for you everyday. its been so long since i saw your iridescent beauty, since i felt your warm skin against mine. i wanted to go to school to say goodbye, but my parents refused to let me go. i still haven't joined any school yet. my parent's hushed whispers and tired eyes make me believe there's something that i am missing out. both of them reek of paranoia and trepidation, but whenever they see me they try to mask it with saccharine painted smiles.

i feel like if i met you, i would melt into you, like ice cream on a searing summer day. i wouldn't mind melting into you, you're the only constant in my world full of variables. i know i haven't been the same ever since the hospital visits happened, my memories feel fragmented and disoriented.

if your heart ever skips a beat when you see someone eating chocolate fudge brownie ice cream, please write back. i know i sound desperate and pathetic, but you're the only familiar thing left in my broken existence. i still think of your ice cream smeared lips whenever i see someone eating  salted caramel ice cream. i hope its the same for you cause i would do anything to make you not hate me.
