Aether woke up from his slumber and glanced over to the clock, it was 5:30 am, the sun wasn't even out yet, and yet, his lover was getting ready to go to work, it was Aether's first time seeing his half-naked boyfriend and his halfway buttoned-up shirt and he didn't want the view to go to waste. He did what normal people would do, go up to his breathtaking attractive partner and pressed his head against Albedo's bare chest.

" You should sleep a bit more, I'm heading over to my office early today, " The alchemist said gently as he pats his lover's head. " I'll make sure to bring you your lunch today as promised! Make sure you wait for me, okay? " 

Seeing Aether being unbelievably adorable so early in the morning almost made the captain lose his mind and ditch his job, but then again he wanted to have lunch with his lover and work hard for him! But then again! He could've been together with Aether on every meal if he dropped his work.

He slapped himself mentally as he decided to focus on his now top-priority experiment for Aether's sake, he can't afford to waver like this. Albedo proceeds to kiss his partner on his soft, sweet, addicting lips " I will, even if you told me to wait for you for a hundred years, I would " He said in a serious tone as the innocent blonde cinnamon roll proceeds to let out a giggle.

" I wouldn't make you wait for me THAT long! or else your lunch would've gone bad "

Little did he know, the alchemist was being dead serious but he decided to play along with his lovely partner, " Now, get back to sleep, I'll cook some breakfast on my way out " Albedo said as he tried to slowly push Aether back to bed, only to have him trip over as they both fell on the bed, facing each other with Aether pinned down by Albedo.

The sudden development made both of them blush as the alchemist immediately thought to himself " How I wish the time would've stopped so I could gobble him up right here ".  Albedo would definitely loathe himself if he ever did something unthinkable and inconsiderate to Aether, and to think about it was quite conflicting to him as didn't want his lover to be scared of him and backs away from their relationship... 

Aether, on the other hand, was flustered, to say the least, but to have Albedo so close to him, was quite nerve-wracking since he didn't expect such an accident to happen. He could see his boyfriend's facial features much closer, his clear teal-colored eyes, his snow pale skin, everything felt like a dream to him.

 He couldn't help but cupping his hands on the alchemist's face before pulling him in for a gentle kiss

Albedo was quite surprised by the sudden boldness of his partner but went with the flow either way, after the kiss he couldn't help but smile to himself as Aether seemed much more embarrassed than he did earlier.
