Who doesn't
Love face paint
It's fun
It makes me
Feel like a kid again
I may be in high school
But I still love
Face paint
It doesn't harm you
There's nothing wrong with
Wanting a butterfly
On your cheek
Or something
That takes up even more
Space
It's like
A little kid's first use
Of makeup
In a way
So why
Would you
Put me down
For something I loved
Something that made
Me feel pretty
And unique
Why would you
Ridicule
Criticize
Something
That you once loved just as much
Why would you
Put me,
Your long time friend,
Down
For something
We had so many memories doing together
I know
You have new friends
But even when they're not watching
You don't have to be
So cruel
About something
That doesn't even
Hurt you
Just let me enjoy
My face paint
Let me enjoy
Having something
As small as it is
That lets me
Stand out
