There in-front of me stood THE Melo Ball the one and only. I don't know too much about him but I have seen some of his highlights when I watch basketball with the boys.

Let me tell you he looks ten times better in person and he's already a hottie online.

"Hey are you okay?" he ponders with puppy dawg eyes.

"I want to leave Im gonna go find my friends I came here with thanks again." I say getting up and striding towards the door.

"Well I am transferring to Mayfair next week so I'll see you around."

I just smile and nod leaving the room. I continue my descent downstairs to be met with Shaqir running up to me hugging me.

"Well uh yeah Melo did save me I was just trying to chill out in a room and he followed me in but before anything happened Melo came and threw him out." I explain

"Someone call Rife. I think we should all go back to Qir's now." Bronny determines.

"I'll call him." Dior decides

"Let's just split up and look for him it'll be faster" I say

"No you probably shouldn't wander alone anymore don't you think?" Bronny questions

"I'm fine you guys like I said Melo got me." I interject

Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

"Thanks for looking out for my wifey." Bronny daps up Melo who has walked his way into our lil huddle.

"Would you mind coming with me WE ALL need to split up and find Sharife and the boys won't let me on my own now." I roll my eyes clearly annoyed.

"Course les go look in the rooms hopefully my boys getting it in." Melo smirks

"Don't cry cause you ain't get none baby." I tease

"Ok y'all taking forever meet back in five if we don't find Rife buddy is on his own." Qir states

Comes from all of us and we head our separate ways. Melo and I start checking bedrooms and as I open the third rooms door

I scream internally watching Jalen standing well his random of the week is on her knees sucking his dick.

I give a quick "Oh my bad." and slam the door

Not before catching Jalens eyes as they widen and he tries to come towards me.

Leaving that all I turn to Melo "Are you drunk have you drank?"

"No ma why what's up is Green yo mans or somethin." he questions

"No I just really wanna go home." I say

Not bothering to make another group chat I send a quick text to Sharife, Qir, Dior, Bronny, Jalen and I's

"Melo's dropping me off don't wait up I'm not coming to Qir's tonight."

"Ok let's go." I smile looking to Melo

We get into his black BMW and head out.

"So have you moved in to your house where are you living I don't want this to be so far out of your way." I say

"Nah you good I was suppose to just stay ova with my boy but he took his girl back to his place already and I'm living a good 20 minutes from here." he states

"Well I basically live alone my moms on her month long business trip per usual your welcome to stay the night I have the space."

"Really you sure it's no hassle?" he asks

"Yeah trust you good for sure." I smile looking out the window

"Igh ma if you insist." he complies

We arrive at my house about ten minutes later and walking in a have this urge to eat pickles so with Melo following me like he's a puppy and I'm his owner we go straight into my kitchen taking off our shoes at the front door of course.

"Vanessa I think you should care less about pickles and more about water unless you want a brutal hang over." he points out

"I have water bottles in my fridge can you pleassse grab me one." I plead since he's standing while I'm sitting at the chair by my island.

"Here you go." he slides it across the table.

"Thanks buddy." I smile

An hour later

We've just been watching Survivor for the past hour and I'm too tired for this now.

"Cmon Melo let me show you wear your sleepin" I say shaking him awake.

I lead him up to my bedroom where I have a pull out bed that's really my couch I set up all the pillows and then go to brush my teeth.

"Here's an extra tooth brush." I hand him one

"Thanks Ness." he replies

10 minutes later

We've washed our face n brushed our teeth and head back into my room I get straight into bed and tuck myself under my covers.

He does the same and says a simple

"Goodnight"

"Night" I say back

5 minutes later

"Melo are you up?" I question aloud

"No" he says softly

"Um I know this is weird but I have anxiety from being alone so much so would you mind sleeping with me." I softly ask

"Of course ma." he gets up and tucks himself beside me.

I move into him a bit and he wraps his arm around my waist holding me.

"Thank you." I say softly as I drift off to sleep.
