I'm really just confused to be honest I thought Lani and Kenz were becoming my girl best friends but for the past couple weeks they've been purposely leaving me out on plans.

For example on Monday they all went to dinner together after the boys game and as they were at dinner Sharife called me asking why I didn't come and when I said no one invited me he was like bruh stop playin Kenz and Lani said you didn't wanna come.

I just don't understand it at all, as for the whole me and Jalen kissing well it seems to be a one time thing. We are super close now he's even fighting Rife for my #1 best friend spot. I find it a bit weird he acts as if it never has happened because I do find him really attractive so I wouldn't mind it happening again but then again clearly he doesn't feel the same so it's whatever i guess.

I change into ripped black mom jeans with a basic light grey pretty crop top. I throw on my lakers vintage nascar jacket and pair it with the black and white twist jordan 1s.

I head out the door and into J's black truck,

"Hey Nessie" Jalen teases

"Hey Jaybae" I hit him on the arm I hate that name so much it's so ugh to me.

As we're riding he stops at Starbucks per my request I go in and leave my phone with him in the car since I had aux.

We pull up to school and hop out of the car, he walks off without me and straight to his hoe crew -rude as fuck damn.

I just roll my eyes and head to the lockers where I am met by Bronny, Qir, Dior and Rife. Once I arrive I try to say hi to them but they all just stare me down.

"What guys whats wrong" I ask

"We have to tell you something but don't get mad okay bae" Bronny pleads.

"Stop being weird just say it you pussy" I respond

Bronny looks to Dior, "Fine okay we don't like Kenz and Lani bro" Qir buts in.

"Okay but why" I wonder aloud.

"Duh dumbass Kenzie is up my ass when I'm legit a whore and Lani is all over Qir and Bronny and BRONNY IS A YOUNGGIN" Dior shouts.

"Chill on that Bronny's mine" I joke

Bronny gets all excited and wraps his arm around my shoulder, "THATS RIGHT BITCHES NESSA IS OFF THE MARKET" he yells through the crowded hallway embarrassing the fuck outta me. I just cower down into his side.

I see Jalen across the hall and he gives me this disgusted look. I wonder what the hell was that for he should know Bronny is playing bruh.

I check my phone to see I LEFT JAYDEN ON READ!? What i never saw this message shit. I quickly reply. Then I piece it all together Jalen must've figured Bronny was talking about Jayden not himself. And, earlier he must've been mad I even talk because they are "enemies" or whatever. Eh I don't have the power in me to go and talk it over I'll leave it for now and do it later.

Skip to third period

I love this block I have english with Sharife and well Lani n Kenz but apparently for some reason the boys don't like em. Which I don't mind because I already feel like they don't like me but it's whatever. Jayden is in this block too, we've became cool since the start he's always been helpful whether I asked a question relating to the school or the homework and it doesn't hurt that he's hot as fuck.

As we're seated I see Jayden turn around and smile at me, I smile back and then he asks

"Hey are you doing anything after school"

"No I don't think so why?" I respond

"Wanna come grab Popeyes with me"

"Yeah sure" I smile

"Sharife" I beg

"Sharife cmon" I continue

"Ok whatever" I say as I walk away.

He's been ignoring me since he heard Jayden ask me to hang out.

*Skip to lunch*

"Rife fuck off what is it bro" I ask clearly irritated.

"You know we ain't fucking with them football clowns like that. Cmon twin for real." he responds.

As we're sitting down at our usual table I speak up.

"Ok I get the whole- actually cap that the fuck I don't cause no one will explain why. I ain't gonna cut out this nice cute guy because y'all have some weird ass rivals shit going on when you don't even play against each other y'all reppin' the same school so I can't understand the hate." I blurt out

Qir Jalen and Sharife all look at me then each other with these unreadable expressions. I shake it off and see Bronny and Dior approach us.

"Cmon Bronny let's go get everyone Chick-fli-A" I state getting up from the table.

"Whyyy Bronny what about meee" Dior whines.

"He's my favourite" I straight face Sharife.

"Ouch I'm hurt" Jalen puts his hand over his heart faking his heartbreak.

"Yeah me too the fuck" Shaqir chips in.

"Cmon Qir you can come too" I say

"Oh and what car you taking there Vanessa" Jalen adds in.

"Yours bitch hand over the keys" I fake smile

"I don't know your being pretty mean right now" he teases.

"Pretty pleeeaaseee Jaybae" I grin and go over hugging his side.

"Fine here don't crash" he gives in.

"Thanks buddy. Okay y'all text me your orders right now so I have them for when we get there."

"Hey ion wanna go cause ion wanna pay" Qir says

"Chill bruh I offered cause I'm paying." I say back

"Nah here take my card Ness" Jalen tries handing me his debit.

"Nah for real I got it" I shut him down.

"Love u twin" Sharife says side hugging me.

"Nah your still on my bad side no hugs for you" I brush him off in a joking manner.

He smacked his lips "My bad bro just looking out"

"I know we're good don't worry" I smile, "Okay boys let's go"
