Sapnap woke up, regrettably.

He sighed. Was yesterday a nightmare?

He rolled over. Nope.
There was Dream, without armor or anything. We should really get him armor.

Dream was slowly rubbing his eyes and waking up.
Sapnap watched him non-creepily. "Remember anything today?"

"What?" Dream yawned. "Oh, no. Just yesterday, and the uh, afternoon before that."

Omg his morning voice.

Dream cleared his throat. "So, um, what's up today?"

Sapnap sat up. "Today, hopefully, we're getting your memories back."
I just have to convince George.

George sat straight up. "WOT?"

"How?" Dream asked.

"Yeah, Sapnap-" George got out of bed- "how do you plan on doing this?"

Sapnap cleared his throat. "Well, I got it all planned out. George and me will go in different directions-"

"Wait- separate?" George asked.

"Yeah and-"

"And leave Dream?"

"He's not going to get into trouble." Sapnap raised his eyebrows at Dream. "You won't, right?"

Dream looked back and forth between them. "Uhhhhhhh."

"No," George said.

"George, look," Sapnap tried to be convincing, "this is the best way to find something to help Dream."

"I want to help Dream, I do," George said. "But we have the pearls and the rods, we should just go to the stronghold now and maybe it'll get fixed."

"He can't fight!" Sapnap pointed out very reasonably and only a little upset.

George groaned.

"It's not wearing off on its own, so we have to do something to get his memories back!"

"What?!"

"I don't know! We have to look!"

George groaned again.

"It's fine, it's fine," Sapnap said. "I'll go West and you go East, and we'll only run or sprint or whatever until noon, then we'll be back before dark."

"Why do you want me to go East?"

"Because there's mountains that way."

George scoffed. "Great, thanks."

"It's only slightly more difficult, and bonus: you can see more from up there probably." Sapnap was just lazy and preferred to try through the forest.

"Fine," George gave in. "But I think this is a waste of time."

"Great!" Sapnap sprung up and went over to the double chest. He started putting up the stuff he wouldn't need.
He caught sight of Dream just standing there.
"Oh, Dream, just... wait here ok? Don't leave the house and don't, uh, open the chest."

"I can't go outside?"

"No, it's safer just to stay," George said, swinging his backpack over his shoulder. "Sapnap, we should also collect food as we go."

"Got it." Sapnap followed him to the door.

"What if you guys don't come back?" Dream chased them to the door. "I don't want-"

"We'll be back before dark, Dream," George said.

"Yeah and worst case scenario we respawn back here," Sapnap added.
