I think they're mad at me.

The one with the fire on his shirt- Sap-nap I think, he came back and didn't say a word. He just created two more beds out of nothing and fell asleep on one.

I wanted to talk to George and ask him questions or something, but he just looked at me sadly and then got in another bed and pulled the blankets up over his head.

I just stood there, not knowing what to do.

I thought maybe just Sap-nap was mad, since George just seemed upset. But then again George seemed mad at Sap-nap, since they yelled at each other earlier.
I don't know.

It was dark. There was a small space above me I could see little lights through. I looked up through that for a while, it was nice to look through.

I looked back at George and Sap-nap. I wondered a lot of things.

I wondered who they were. I wondered why they fought. I figured maybe they fought because of me.
I wondered about myself. I wondered how I forgot everything. I wondered what happened exactly.
I wondered if they would tell me.

I walked over to the last bed.

I wondered how Sap-nap made the beds appear out of thin air.
I wondered who made this house.

I wondered about what they called me. Dream.

I fell asleep.

I woke up.

Sap-nap seemed a little less angry, but George was even more sad.
They were talking about how to get my memories back.
They didn't include me in the conversation.

They talked about confusing things. A lot of things were confusing and hard for me to understand. I wanted to ask questions, but I also didn't want to bother them since they were tense.

I have a backpack. It's empty.

They started arguing again and Sap-nap walked out the door.
George said "come on" to me so I followed him outside.

Outside was much better than inside.

We set off, walking.
"Where are we going?" I asked George.

"We're following the river," George said. "That way it's easy to find our way back."

"Why are we leaving?" I asked.

George paused. "We're looking for something."

"What?"

"I don't know, anything helpful."

"How can you know it's helpful if you don't know what you're looking for?"

"We're just looking, Dream. We'll know it when we see it. We're doing our best, okay?"

"Okay," I said quietly. George seemed stressed, like he thought I was judging him badly.

I tried to fix it. "You're doing great!"

He scoffed. I wasn't sure if it helped or not.

"Let's run!" Sapnap called back to us. "Come on!"

He started running, taking breaks every once in a while. It was beautiful to run next to the river.

I didn't get very tired, but soon my stomach started growling. After one break the others took off and I couldn't run anymore.
"George!!!" I called out, hoping they wouldn't leave me behind. "George I can't run."

George got Sap-nap to wait and jogged back to me. "Haven't you been eating?"

"What food?"

"Oh." George gave me some kind of meat and I ate it hungerly.
"I'm sorry, I'm so used to you taking care of yourself," he said.
