"Are you sure?"

Ichigo gives Uryū a look. "Rukia is literally a couple rooms away with everyone else. And they call it a palace for a reason, so it's gotta be massive."

The bespectacled teen rolls his eyes. "Whatever. Let's just get down there."

"Fine. See you there, sensei."

Ichigo takes a few steps back before running off the pillar in a flip. He falls for a moment, letting gravity take him. He collects Reishi to his feet quickly, and catches himself right before he hits the ground. With all the kinetic energy he mustered, he uses it to launch him off into a shunpo. He gets to the courtyard before Uryū.

"Since when did you become so dramatic?" The Quincy snorts.

"Since always."

He rolls his eyes again. "Lesson number one: summoning your cross."

It goes like this for the rest of the day. They bicker then get to training. Bicker, train. Bicker, train. When the fake sun starts to set, they are left physically and mentally exhausted of each other. If Ichigo ever had a brother, he'd imagine this is what it'd feel like. Just looking at Uryū's stupid fucking face makes him want to punch it, but he won't because he needs his help. It's really immature and frustrating.

Out of curiosity - and Ichigo's lack of ability to summon a garganta - they go through the door by the courtyard. If Ichigo is right, they should be able to find Rukia and the fracción real easy. Now, that doesn't mean they can because they have Ichigo leading them, but one can hope.

The door leads them into a hallway of more doors. Ichigo wants to go back outside where there are less doors. Uryū pushes Ichigo into the hallway before he could turn around.

"Dick," Ichigo mumbles.

They start opening and closing doors out of boredom and curiosity. There is an armory, bathhouse, shooting range, pantry, kitchen, and a pool so fair. Ichigo marks up the shooting range and armory doors to help him remember where they are.

The two wonder down the hallway some more, and they finally find the door to where Rukia is. The room is quite large - almost as big as the training grounds in the Thirteen Division. While the room is large, it's also quite blank. Just a dark gray floor and white walls. There are only two sets of doors, and they're on opposite sides of the room. The only thing in here is the short watch tower in the center of the room. Rukia is standing in the tower so she can literally oversee training. Chad and Tatsuki are sparring, and Inoue is showing Keigo and Mizuiro her process of her powers.

Tatsuki is doing great. Her control and focus on her powers is as good as her karate, which is helping her tremendously. She didn't get second at the karate championship for nothing after all. Even then she only get second because she was disqualified for her broken arm. Didn't she get hit by a car? Ichigo thinks back. That's what broke her arm, right? Man, she really does have tough skin.

Chad seems to have configured his left arm, too. Ichigo didn't know he could do that. While his right arm is big, bulky, and black with red details, his other arm is pointed, slim, and white with red. It looks really cool, and oddly enough, matches the uniform.

Since Tatsuki had her powers before Keigo and Mizuiro, she is currently mastering those powers with one of the few people that can keep up with her. The other two seem to be learning how to summon their powers at will. Ichigo remembers Chad telling Ichigo it was a lot harder than it looks, so Ichigo leaves them be.

"Oi, Ichigo!" Rukia calls. "Uryū! How was training?"

The two huff. Rukia rolls her big eyes at them. She shunpos to them, hands on her hips.
