Chapter 4

I slowly walked towards him,
"Hey Meghan! Glad you came!"
"Thanks! I'm glad you invited me."
All the football guys were looking at Sean, as if, waiting for him.
"Are you Captain?" I asked.
"Yeah I am." he replied.
Sean took me by the hand and walked me over to the football guys, I was half-blushing. Once we got to the huddle the guys were in, Sean introduced me,
"This is Meghan, Meghan Grande, American Sweetheart." he smiled at me, then looked at the guys. One of them came up and hugged me, I was stunned for a minute and then hugged hm back, I looked at Sean who was laughing, and he looked at me and smiled, I smiled back. They practiced football while I watched from the sidelines. Then the guy who hugged me came up to me with Sean trailing behind. He looked back at Sean who just nodded.
"I'm Jonathan." he said
I held out my hand and he shook it.
"Sorry, about hugging you earlier, just life has been crazy." he said looking down
"It's okay." I smiled and hugged him. "Now where even." I said.
"Do you want to come to the 'after-practice' party" he said.
I looked at who was putting his hands as if praying and looking at me saying Please.
"Sure that would be awesome!" I smiled.
"See you after school, I'll drive you" Sean said.
