Steven: No, I'm-I'm just bad in drawing hands. So here's your part - come here! (gestures Peridot to sit down beside him*) Write an apology inside to Lapis so she knows how sorry you are about before, and that everything is okay now. If you write it from your heart, your feelings will reach her!

An awkward silence falls between Steven and Peridot, as Steven realizes the different context of his words.

Steven: Just, try to be sincere.

Peridot: (contemplating*) Hm.

At the Barn*

You found Lapis lying peacefully with her eyes closed on the roof of the silo, as she lets out a relaxed sigh.

You: Hey, do you mind if I sit next to you?

Lapis: (close eyes*) If you're here to convince me to forgive me peridot, you're wasting your time y/n.

You: (chuckles*) How did you know?

Lapis: (opens eyes*) Maybe lucky guess. (sits back*) But, I also guess you are not gonna stop, wouldn't you?

You: Yup. (you sit down with lapis*)Look, listen to me. I know peridot did some bad things in the past but she change now. She changed a lot. And I know, she can be clingy or act childish sometimes, but it's just a part of herself.

Lapis: She acts childish on earth because she isn't aware of this planet. (sighs*) I remember back in the time where I spent my life on that wretched ship. I was all alone, I was afraid, I was horrified at what are they going to do to me. It almost reminds me on how you became the shadow assassin in the first place.

Lapis: Now, I know how you feel when a bunch of total strangers suddenly harasses you with no reason at all.
It feels wrong, so wrong.

You: But, what happened between you two wasn't personal, right? She didn't mean it, she was just doing her job.

Lapis: (gets angry*) Well, I'm sorry, I didn't know at your planet, It was OKAY to harass someone! Imagine this y/n, imagine peridot as one of those people who kidnap you, how would you feel?!

Peridot then starts calling out to her from below.

Peridot: (distantly*) Hey Lazuli! HEY Lazuli! HEEY!

Lapis frowns and her eyes widens, as her peace is suddenly interrupted, and she turns to her side, groaning in frustration.

Lapis: (groans in frustration*) y/n, just go away for a moment.

You: Lapis, you do know she won't stop right? So it's probably great for you to at least talk to her.

Peridot: Lazuliiii, HEY! (to Steven*) Why isn't she responding? I thought y/n can finally talk to her?

Steven: I'm not sure. I thought she was up there and was found by y/n.. (calls out*);Lapis! Are you up there?

Lapis: Huh? (hears Steven and swoops down in front of him*)

You sighed in dissapointment for lapis being easily tricked by steven by just calling her name.

Lapis: Yes, Steven?

You landed next straight to lapis.

Steven: (turns to Peridot*) Go on!
