Peridot stops recording and casually turns to Lapis.

Peridot: Let's begin.

Lapis:... This isn't gonna work.

Peridot: Wait, what?

Lapis: I really thought I would be living alone here, with y/n.

Steven: Yeah, but this is even better! Oh here, how about this? I saw this on an episode of a TV show! I didn't see how it ended, but I'm sure it worked out right. We'll divide this place in half.

You: Steven, can I talk to you privately?

Steven: Sure.

You and steven leave the two for a second.

You: Steven, I think lapis is right. Maybe, it's not a good idea to put these two in a same room.

Steven: Why not? Don't you want them to forgive each other? Y/N, I know peridot and lapis didn't had a lucky start with each other. But, this is peridot's chance to redeem herself to lapis.

You: Look, I'm not saying that lapis should not forgive peridot, it's just I feel lapis is not ready to forgive peridot for now.

Steven: Y/N, trust me this will work. I just need you to trust my guts.

You: (rolls eyes and sighs*) Okay you win steven, let's give it a try. (looks around*) By the way, where is iron?

Steven: Oh right I forgot to tell you y/n. Garnet, amethyst, pearl and iron is searching for the shadow assassin. They said that this is their chance to capture him since most of our problems are solved now.

You: Aww, why didn't they invited me? I really want to capture the shadow assassin and bring him to justice.

Steven: They said you need some rest first.

You: (sighs*) Well, they're lost. But let's go back to business, shall we?

Steven: Let's shall.

You and Steven go back to peridot and lapis. Steven takes out a marker and starts drawing a straight line on the floor.

Steven: You'll both have your own space. High ceilings, real wood floors, convenient location on the heart of the country; so what do you think, roomies?

Peridot and Lapis stand opposite of one another on both sides of the line.

Peridot: I like the cut of your gem, Steven Quartz!

Lapis: No! No way!

Peridot: What's the problem? You're the one getting all the good stuff! You've got the propeller and paint cans on your side! You can do tons with those! Oooh, actually, I want the paint cans. You wanna trade something?

Lapis: (glares at Peridot dismissively*) I don't care about paint cans. That's not the problem.

Peridot: Bah...

Steven: What's wrong, Lapis?

Lapis: It's her.

Peridot Egh?! (flinches in confusion*)

Lapis: She's the problem. I can't stand the thought of looking at her everyday. She's the one who dragged me back to Earth! And not to mention poof me! And blast y/n at the back!

Peridot: Hey, it wasn't my idea! It was iron! Me, iron, and jasper was headed to Earth and I needed an informant! It should have been a simple mission. Things didn't exactly work out for either of us.

Lapis: (gets angry*) You used me like everyone else did except y/n!

Peridot: But it's not like that anymore! It's different now; I'm different!
