Find Your Way - Chapter 17 - Améliorations

Start from the beginning

His...max percentage? Well..Actually, he looked at her with a rather surprised expression on his face. He didn't actually know what his MAX percentage WAS, but given another thought, he decided to test something out.

Angling his hands and clenching his fists, Jade lightning began to ark around his body as he focused. He had not utilized everything against his fight with Bakugo, but he did get an idea of what he could do.

13.

14.

15.

Could he go higher? Yes. With an angled shift of his glare, he pushed his body to it's peak. The ground below him slightly formed slight cracks along it's surface, as the young man gritted his teeth. "2...21...Percent..." Taking a moment, he made the mental note that 21 was his peak. He'd need to surpass this.

Melissa took a moment before grabbing the man by his arm. The sudden grab had caught Izuku off guard, and she had begun dragging him."Shit...she's stronger than she looks!" He had stumbled slightly, but caught himself. In retrospect, As they ran, Izuku thought about something. One For All as a whole had been...growing, adapting, and changing.

As of right now, he only had 2 other quirks. Float, and Black Whip. Granted, his control over the two was so miniscule, it would serve to be a hindrance rather then something worthwhile to use, And this wasn't adding the additional 5 or so other quirks that one day soon would all swell into one single body.

He needed to not only increase his training, but he needed to find a way to correctly hone each and every quirk he's given. He needed to...To defend those he loved, To defeat the League and to make his own legacy.

No, further past this. The main goal he had right now, was that He needed to go even further beyond. In any case, whatever this...'Item' was, that had been created for him...he only hoped it would help him out in the future. He shook his head as he followed behind Melissa., Those were thoughts for another day.

"We are almost there, come on!" Give or take After a few minutes of running, the pair appeared at a door as Melissa opened said door via keycard. "Here we are, Home sweet Lab!"

She turned around before grabbing him and pulling him in. Izuku, being slightly dazed from all the running was forced into a chair, whilst the Hyperactive Scientist went rummaging around. Taking a moment to himself, Izuku looked around the room and took note of the blueprints that littered the area. However, that wasn't his main focus.

Coming back into the clearing, Melissa had glanced over to Izuku as she smiled. "After some thought, and what i've been told by Toshinori, Plus him contacting me and my father to help develop these items, he said you needed some help with your quirk, and that we could help in it's development. Here, let me show you."

She turned around before she gently grabbed his wrist. Letting it slip perfectly on, Izuku took a moment to look at the item before she pressed a button on the Bracelet. "This little puppy can handle roughly Triple the amount of force you put through. Since you said 21 Percent is your max you can Righteously use up to..i'd say maybe 3 times to 4, although i wouldn't push it that far. However, this is not its final product. I'm still doing some updates to the thing but, considering how close you and Uncle might are in terms of quirks, I think it would be wise for you to use it."

"So, instead of one...me and my father decided to make Two!" She paused a moment before pressing both of the items. A Type of gauntlet forming around his forearm as his eyes widened. "Yep, I Call them "Full Gauntlets" Because, I heard you mention your A Thing called 'Full Cowling.' So, i decided to name them Full gauntlets."

She took another pause as she watched as they fully transformed into gauntlets. Both wrapping around Izuku's forearm "The name, also implies to your arms as it hugs the forearms, adding like a protective brace to stimulate your arms and take more damage than what you think it can."

Izuku having looked at his arms, flexing his muscles slightly as to get adjusted to the sudden increase in weight, but he had to admit. It was actually surprisingly Light! Naturally, he looked back at Melissa before nodding. "Thank you! I'm gonna make sure to use put it to good use, Melissa." With that, he gave the girl a cheeky grin.

He looked back to his hands, he keeping in mind that the 'Full Gauntlet' was rather compact in size, for something that could allow him to surpass his limits. Melissa however, simply put a hand on his shoulder, Izuku turning his gaze to the woman before she continued to speak. "When you go back to U-A, Promise me this....Keep Uncle Might out of trouble. Alright?"

Izuku paused a moment before he nodded. That was his plan, He knew that that All-Might wouldn't stay the number one hero for long, so he would need to grow stronger and surpass him. That was one of his goals at the end of the day. It was a given as well, Gran Torino was coming either way to train him. But truth be told, with All For One and everything else, He couldn't help but wonder.

What was the reason, behind all of this? Villians and Heroes, what was there purpose truthfully? He never really cared much for that ideology but...after much thought and, searching for an answer it was something he never got. The Answer to everyone's problems could be right infront of him, even if he never realized it was there...But, it came to him.

HE, was the answer to this world's problems. Atleast, one of them. Although he'd need to work hard to achieve that mindset, All-Might was only a symbol of peace but not order. He only protected those he could, but he didn't save them. A Heroes job was to save people...right? How about the order, and the justice? The peace wasn't everything and he would find that out the hard way.

Infact, one day the world everyone knew could quite literally come tumbling down. One small pillar cracked can only support weight of what's on top of it for so long, and once All-Might was gone?

Well, all hell would break loose.

However, being broken from his thoughts, he simply nodded to the girl, before he began speaking. "Thank you, Melissa...i'll remember this, and i promise you i will." She smiled, before grabbing his wrist again. "I'll send a blueprint of the designs to U-A in Japan, so the people there can work alongside me. Anywho, you best be going, i gotta get back to work!"

As Melissa pushed Izuku out, she left the room with him before closing the door. As with the pair turning to go right A Voice rung out. One that caused Izuku to stop in his tracks, surprisingly breaking the grip that Melissa had on him.

"H...huh? I-Izuku, is that you?" The Voice that registered itself behind Izuku and Melissa had an obvious sign in it. It felt...hurt, as if betrayed. Naturally, The boy knew who this was. Staying quiet for a moment, Izuku had turned his body around and...well, he didn't know what to say besides the latter's name. "Hey...M-Momo?"

Naturally, Momo saw Melissa first before Izuku, But she had watched Melissa turn around, a confused glare being replaced onto her face as the pair met eyes. Naturally most people would consider the one one you loved with another girl to be...a surprise, in a sense.

It was natural that Izuku had looked quite bad here,

Whilst Momo held an air of confusion, surprise, and even Loss. However, what she feared most hasn't transpired. Melissa simply scratched her neck, before chuckling as she began to speak. She didn't understand the sudden tense atmosphere, so she simply decided to break it.

"My names Melissa Shield, and I'm a Acquaintance of Midoriya Here...If i may ask, who are you?" Melissa smiled warmly at the U.A student infront of her.

Momo turned her gaze to now look at Melissa as she narrowed her eyes...but, her eyes softened a small bit as she gave her a small smile. She had seemingly over reacted, and misread the situation..atleast, she hoped. "Momo Yaoyorozu, at your service."

Guess it was going to be alright after all.

Right?
