Tonight, I was going on a date with Ry.

She didn't like the whole romance kind of thing that couples always have.

I liked that.

So I decided that going to a little tiny cafe, was the way to go.

I got a text.

From: Riley😘😤

Can you please hurry up! You are the slowest person I have ever met!

To: Riley😘😤

Love you too.

I entered the cafe.

I saw Ry sitting at a little table in the corner minding her own businesses.

I smiled mentally, whenever I'm around her I get butterflies in my stomach.

She was wearing dark skinny jeans and a cardigan sweater with a cream colored shirt under it that had little sequence at the top.

She's cute.

I sat down.

"Well, hello Mr. Mendes." She smiled.

Her teeth were perfect.

"Hello, to you too, Ms. Stone."

I gave her a cheeky smile.

I didn't know what to say.

Was it going to be like this every time I'm with her?

Will this relationship ruin our best friend relationship?

"Sooo... How's art? Like, ya know make anything cool?" I had no idea what I was saying.

Confusion flashed in her eyes.

She would always tell me about art when we were littler, and how she loved it so much. Now that we are older she barley speaks of it.

It looked like she was muttering to herself.

"I've been drawing here and there. Once in a while,"

I nodded.

"Have you ever realized, or actually I might just think this way, but 'the earth without art is just, eh."

I loved how she was always passionate about certain things. She always wants to plan ahead.

Art was one thing she was really passionate about but lately she was kinda just fading. Her whole self.

Her outgoingness kinda was fading.

She was always a dreamer, but that was kinda gone.

Her confident self was gone.

I didn't know what was happening to my best friend.

Or now my girlfriend.
