He's sleeping?! Damn it! He shouldn't sleep! Barrister babu will be here any moment. I'll have to wake him up.

"Kahan ja rahe ho?" Batuk held me back when he sensed I was moving forward.

"Senior ko udhane" I released myself from his grip and called out to him "Tum neeche jakar dekho Bondita ki kya haal hai"

He nodded and went down.

Sitting beside Senior cautiously so that he won't get disturbed, I frowned to myself. Have I gone nuts? I'm here to wake him up, anyway. Shaking my head, I slowly started shaking him up. He groaned and cuddled cutely. I tried again and received a frustrated growl.

"Sone do na Maa" he whined.

"Senior" I tried once more, stifling a smile when he called me Maa "Udho na beta, matlab... Senior"

He groaned again and opened his eyes lazily. Blinking thrice, he frowned sheepishly and looked around.

"Maa?" he murmured, getting up awkwardly.

"Maa?" his voice raised an octave "Maa kahan hai?" he enquired, his voice still a buzz due to the drug.

"Maa..." I thought dubiously.

What should I say?

"Maa neeche gayi hai, sabse milne" I blurted out.

"Shh!" he placed a finger on his lips and I raised an eyebrow in question "Maa meri hai, tumhari nahi... Shubhra Aunty bolo"

"Um... Shubhra Aunty" I grinned mockingly.

"Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?" he questioned.

"Senior ap jab dekho aise sawal kyun karte rehte ho?" I snapped.

"Kyunki mujhe tumpar bilkul bhi bharosa nahi hai!" he snapped back and leaned forward, pointing a finger to my eye "Your eyes are hiding something... What are you hiding from me, Apple of my eye?" he raised an eyebrow.

He looked supercute! I resisted my urge to grin and scowled at him instead.

"Mein apke ankhon ka seb hoon?" I chuckled.

"Haan..." he leaned back and crossed his arms against his chest.

"Senior mein apse kuch bhi nahi chupa raha hoon, shotti" I pinched my throat.

"Jhut bol rahe ho tum!" he shouted.

"Mein jhut kyun bolunga? Yahan baki sabko mujhpar bharosa hai bas apko nahi hai... Meine apko kabhi nirash kiya hai? Kabhi apke virudh gaya hai? Humesha apki madad hi kiya hai na? Phir bhi apko vishwas nahi hai mujhpe" I crossed my arms against my chest in protest, not looking at him but at the ground.

He was hearing me keenly, now thinking through my words. Yes! This is the perfect time. I'll have to introduce that particular word into his system now. No more hiding Senior. Accept the reality!

"Itna bhi 'jalan' acha nahi hai Senior" I added cautiously, stressing the word intentionally.

He blinked at me once before jumping to face me.

"Jalan?! Tum kya Queen Victoria ka pota hai jo mein jalunga tumse?" he chuckled.

"Queen Victoria ka pota nahi par Barrister babu ka dosth zaroor hoon"

He frowned in confusion and I took it as a cue to explain myself.

"Mein manta hoon woh apki Patni hai par meri dosth bhi toh hai na? Toh baatein hote rahenge... Apka aise-"
