“Excited na ko mga lodicakes!”

Samuel has a bright smile plastered on his face. Dala-dala ang bagahe namin papunta sa sasakyan namin. Naka-sunod sa likod ni Samuel si Dani na naka-busangot.

“Paris. City of Love.” Samuel muttered. “Together we will make love.” She said that to Dani and Dani scoffed.

Natawa naman kami sa dalawang ‘to. Naramdaman ko ang kamay ni Uno sa bewang ko sabay halik sa ulo ko. We will celebrate our first anniversary in Paris, the city of love, together with my first milestone. Kasama ‘rin namin sina Pao at Lana. Nang malaman nila na pupunta kami sa Paris ay hindi na sila nagdalawang isip na sumama. They booked a plane ticket to Paris the same date as ours. Kaya naman kumpleto na namn kami. Mukha kaming mga barkada na papunta sa fieldtrip. I don’t mind though, atleast we’re together, enjoying each other’s company.

Unfortunately, Tita Daisy, our manager will not be joining us. Binigyan niya na lang kami ng schedule for the shows that we book for Paris Fashion Show. I was so excited because it’s my first time to ride a plane and to go to other country. But I know that this trip was supposed to be about my work.

Uno and I are excited to celebrate our anniversary In Paris. Mabuti naman at pinayagan sila na makapag-pahinga. Kakatapos lang kasi ng release ng second song nila so madaming guesting na naman ang naganap. Uno said that he will always find a time for me…for us.

“I’m nervous.” I said to Uno. “Hindi ba ‘to babagsak?”

He chuckled then embraced me with his arms.

“You’re silly and cute.” He said. “Hindi ‘yan babagsak. Remember, sa’kin ka bumagsak.”

I hit his arm and he just chuckled. Nasa likod namin sina Dani at Samuel na ‘rinig na rinig ang pagtatalo. Habang sina Lana at Pao ay nasa unahan namin. During the flight, Uno’s arms never left me. I’m okay with it though, he’s hugs are very warm and it makes me feel comfortable. Nakaka-inis lang dahil ‘yung ibang flight attendant lumalandi pa! Hindi ba nila ko nakikita? Like hello!

“Nangangamoy pasta na.” si Pao. “Talagang nasa Paris na tayo mga lodicakes.”

“Wait lang, may hinahanap ako.” sabi ni Lana kaya naman napatingin kami sa kanya.

“Ano ‘yun bebe ko?” tanong naman ni Pao kay Lana.

“Hinahanap ko ‘yung utak mo!” sabi niya kay Pao.

At wala kaming nagawa kundi tumawa. Pao pouted at Lana. They really are a cute couple. Nag-rent na lang kami ng taxi para maka-punta ng hotel. I’m awe of how beautiful Paris is. It feels like I’m in dream.

“I’m happy to be here.” I said that to Uno.

“I’m happy too.” He said then kissed my forehead. “I’m always happy because you’re with me.”

Nang makarating kami sa hotel ay kanya-kanya kaming dala ng bagahe paakyat. Hindi naman masyadong hassle dahil may elevator. Nakarating kami sa tamang floor ay kanya kanya na kaming humiwalay kasama ng mga jowa namin. Magkasama kami ni Uno sa iisang kwarto. Habng sina Danit at Samuel naman ay magkasama ‘rin. Pati na ‘rin sina Pao at Lana. We rested for an hour before exploring the city.
