Nara's POV

Few weeks later...

[Monday October 12 2020]

I already told Bomin about what I heard on the news and he knew about it before I got the chance to tell him
however he was a little bit relieved because he got to ensure my safety in a minor way

he's so cute. his future girlfriend is definitely going to be God's fav

we were currently in uncle Jaehyun's café
and by all of 'us' I meant all of us excluding Jongho

it was his birthday and we were all at the café decorating it to throw him a surprise birthday party!

everyone sat on a chair and were blowing their lungs out in tons of balloons

-"i-i can't. my lungs are out of service" Sanha breathed
-"shut the fuck up Sanha and continue blowing" I replied trying to catch my breath
-"b-but I legit blew THREE WHOLE BALLOONS. HOW MANY DID YOU BLOW MS. NARA HM?"
-"bitch. I blew 14 and I'm on the 15th."
-"well you got some avengers type of lungs" he rolled his eyes

I just got up from my seat smacked his head and watched him dramatically whine...

after about 3 hours of me constantly screaming at Sanha, Sunwoo and Eric for not doing their work properly...

the café was now decorated with bear shaped balloons and apple baskets on each table

we even ordered a special green tea flavored cake with gummy bear toppings

Hyunjin gave Jongho a call to rush to the café as soon as possible because he has something SO important to tell him

I turned the lights off and we hid behind the counter except for Hyunjin who hid next to the door

we saw Jongho's shadow from outside quickly approaching the café and breaking in, almost out of breath

when he entered, silence and darkness engulfed him

"Hyunjin? Hwang Hyunjin? where are you? you know I can snap your 206 bones if you don't show up. don't play games with me I don't have time for your bullsh-"

he didn't get to finish his scentence and the lights were turned on suddenly and Hyunjin popped the huge confetti behind Jongho and we all got up from behind the counter

"SURPRISE!"

Jongho was so surprised that he didn't notice that Hyunjin was hugging him for a bit LONG time.

if he was thinking straight he would've yeeted Hyunjin's ass a long time ago

we all gave him birthday hugs and wishes and he sat at the table and blew his candles

and ofcourse made a wish

-"what did you wish for Jongho?" I asked curiously
-"well if I tell you it may not come true. so I ain't risking that"
-"oh come on just half of it"
-"nope"
-"how about a hint?"
-"no"
-"AT LEAST A WORD?"
-"nu-uh"
-"oh come on please? pretty please?"
-"Nara, the physical appearance of a please won't change my mind"
-"fine." I rolled my eyes at his stubbornness

we were chatting and eating various dishes and snacks as we started giving Jongho the presents we got him

I got him a coffee machine, I've been saving money for it for a while now, and I know how he is addicted to coffee.

Hyunjin and Bomin both got him sports shoes
Sanha got him wet wipes
Sunwoo got him coffee beans
Eric got him a used dirty pillow
and uncle Jaehyun gave him a voucher for free coffee from his shop
