Chapter 27

Jake's POV: Rik came over for lunch today. We lunched together here. My mom really likes having her here. Logan wasn't here thankfully cause he's a bit of a pain in the ass. My dad's also chill about it.

Anyways. Rik came over. We had lunch, we talked for a while. Then we came to my room. We watched a movie, chilled for a bit, made out, then Rik fell asleep.

I was talking to the boys in the group chat. She was laying on my chest sleeping.
I turned on the tv and NHL was on. I watched it for a bit, making sure it wasn't too loud so it wouldn't wake her up.
But eventually she woke up.

Erika: Hi.. - she said sleeping rubbing her eyes

Jake: Hi gorgeous- she smiled and hid her face

Erika: No. I probably have pillow face rn

Jake: You still look amazing - she smiled and blushed

Erika: Stop..

Jake: You always look incredible

Erika: Not always. - she sat up. Then I did as well

Jake: In my eyes.. always - she smiled and kissed my cheek

Erika: I love you

Jake: I love you - she rest her head on my shoulder - So what you wanna do?

Erika: What time is it?

Jake: 5:20

Erika: What time did Lucas say?

Jake: 7pm

Erika: We still have time. Do you have like nacho chips? I'm kinda hungry

Jake: Yeah

Erika: You wanna do some quick chips with cheese?

Jake: Uuhh yeah. Let's do it - I got up and helped her up - Your hands are cold. Do you want a hoodie?

Erika: I wouldn't mind it - I got one for her

Jake: Just gotta ask

Erika: Thanks - she smiled. She looked really cute, the hoodie was big on her and you couldn't see her hands, it was adorable.

We went downstairs. She jumped on my back as we went down the stairs.

Jake: Hey guys, want some chips and cheese?

Pam: No, thanks sweetie

Dan: I'm good son, thanks

We went to the kitchen, she got down, got some cheese, I got the chips, we put the chips on a tray, covered it with cheese and put it on the oven.

Rik got some pink lemonade and some sprite and mixed it. Yeah she does that a lot.

About 10 minutes later it was ready. She was gonna get it out of the oven and got burnt

Jake: Baby!

Erika: Chill chill.. - she put it under cold water. I got an ointment my mom had. Put it on her hand

Jake: Ok now stay still.

Erika: Jake I'm fine

Jake: Please

Erika: Ok..

I got the tray, put the nachos on a plate and we went back upstairs. She picked that movie after we collided. We already watched it a few months ago maybe. But she wanted to watch it again. Yay..

We ate the nachos, they were delicious! Then we cuddled again and watched the movie.
If you haven't noticed we like to cuddle a lot.

I started to get some notifications on my phone. It was our group chats

Erika: Don't

Jake: Why?

Erika: They boys.. they are calling you a simp. - she looked down

Jake: I don't care. I'm a huge simp for you and I'm proud of it - she looked at me smiling

Erika: God you're just.. incredible. - I looked at her in the eyes. I took her hair and put it gently behind her ear. I could just look at her for hours, she's so beautiful.

Jake: I don't deserve you..

Erika: Jake! - she shot up

Jake: What?

Erika: Don't say that! You do deserve me. More than anyone else!

Jake: Ok..

Erika: Baby.. - she laid on my chests again but facing me - We deserve each other. Remember? - I smiled

Jake: Yeah - she kissed me - You just make me the happiest I can be, and I'm really thankful for having you in my life. And I don't think I say this enough. And I should! Because you changed my life for the better

Erika: My heart.. - she hugged me and her eyes watered - You can for sure say that more often. I might cry every now and then but I'll love it. - I smiled and she caressed my cheek - I love you Jake. I love you like I didn't know I could love someone. And you make me feel loved, in a way I never felt before

Jake: You are very loved baby. Like a lot. More as time passes - she blushed and hugged me

Then we just stood like that for a while. I was laying on my bed, she was on top of me, hugging me. The movie was still rolling but we were just enjoying the moment. I'm really in love with this girl.

After an hour or so. We got out of bed, Rik fixed her make up and her hair. Then we headed to Lucas, which was literally across the street

Jake: I'll be at Lucas ok?

Pam: Ok baby. Bye. Bye Erika

Us: Byee

We crossed the street and Rik knocked on the door.

Lucas: Coming! - he said still from inside. He opened the door and he was shirtless. I covered Rik's eyes then we all just burst down laughing

Erika: Lmao! Bad timing tho?

Lucas: No no, come in.

We went inside and headed to the living room. Chloe was there and she was wearing his shirt

Jake: Sorry. We didn't want to interrupt - Chloe slapped my arm

Chloe: Shut up

It was just us. The rest of the crew had plans. We had tons of snacks, some drinks and some candy. We were all ready for the game. It's gonna be great. Game night is always fun!
