CHAPTER 1 - First Day

I woke up to the sound of alarm loudly buzzing all throughout my room. I've always wanted to come to this day and now it is happening. I'm very excited to meet new people and at the same time, do what I want in my life - it is to pursue MBA.

I spent 3 years in Australia and worked as a Manager to experience what it feels like to work in a foreign country and even worked sa isang multinational corporation and came back to Philippines for a short and quick vacation when suddenly a friend of mine sa modeling agency saw me sa isang mall and asked me to join them again because they badly need someone like me. From that moment, tuloy tuloy na ang karera that even in the showbiz industry, napasukan ko na rin. I became one of the leading actresses in this country.

It was really unexpected, to think that I'm just chitchatting with my friend sa mall, then the next thing, I am now a famous actress. Well, I did modeling back in High School and College but stopped when I had decided to go abroad until I came back here in the Philippines and started to join showbiz. They say that I have this charismatic aura that can blow guys heart, matangos na ilong, and a well-shaped body which is an eye catcher. I've done quite few films which became box office hits and some few tv commercials but I know in my heart that these things are not the only things I want in my life - I want to go to graduate school. I don't wanna stop learning. Ganun na lang ang paghahalaga ko sa pag-aaral. They said, I don't have just beauty, but I am also hella smart.

Kaya nga grabe ang panghihinayang ng manager ko that I had to decline challenging roles. I only accepted few roles and some commercials because nag enroll na ako sa University. Sayang daw kasi ako raw ang gustong main lead sa mag upcoming soap operas. Tatanggapin ko pa rin naman pero due to my studies, I need to manage my time properly.

I am really thankful na nabigyan ako ng magandang opportunity. I am already 28 years old and ngayon pa lang ako mag pupursue ng MBA. At the age of 25, I entered showbiz and thank God it helped me earn more and built a house for my family. Malaki laki na rin ang naipon ko. Ginamit ko ito para makabili ng farm at resort sa Batangas pati na rin ng bahay. Yung iba savings para sa studies ng mga kapatid. Yung iba, naki sosyo ako sa business ng friends ko. I'm not into rush and as they say, we have our own pace in life. But age doesn't really matter, as long as you do what you love and walang natatapakang tao.

I am wearing a floral dress- na above knee length para lumabas ang magandang hubog ng legs ko and a stiletto. Maganda rin ang hanggang bewang na wavy hair with a color of ash brown. Today is Saturday and I'm gonna meet my new classmates in a bit.

"Anak, hindi mo naubos ang pagkain mo"

Bilin sa akin ni mommy na nag-abala magluto para sa akin. Even though we have maids here, they still want to take care of me. Very supportive ang parents ko sa akin simula pa noong bata pa ako. Sila ang nagsali sa akin sa iba't ibang workshops noong wala pa kaming financial crisis na naranasan. Nasa dugo ko nga talaga ang pag aartista dahil saglit din naging artisa si mommy until she left showbiz at the age of 27, right after I was born to live a peaceful life with my Dad, but here I am again, ako naman ang nagtuloy.

"Sorry, my I don't wanna be late kasi and for sure baka ma traffic ako. Next time, I'm gonna finish my food" Tumayo na ako at nakipag beso kay mommy and daddy na nasa lamesa.

"You've done enough for this family, anak. It's time for you to have time for yourself and for your dreams." Nakangiti sa akin si Daddy at agad ko naman siyang niyakap.

My Dad was a General Manager sa isang Engineering firm but eversince na nalugi and company, and lahat sila nawalan ng work, that left me no choice but to become a bread winner at an early age. All of my earnings in modeling and theater shows while I was in HS and College, I gave it to my family. I am not complaining, I want them to have a wonderful life.
