Once I heard the shower turn down, Lexi walked out just wrapped in a towel; her hair was up in a hair clip.
"Damn do you really need to do this to me?"

I woke up and slowly got out of the bed, going in the bathroom to shower.

I closed the doors and grabbed sweats and walked downstairs.

Josie kissed my cheek and I messed with Mason's hair, but he didn't seem to care, while Jackson, who's hair I messed up too, groaned fixing it again while I evilishly laughed at him, because I know he hates it.

She snorted, shaking her head.
"Here goes your eggs, sit down and eat."

I kissed her cheek once again, sitting on the table beside Paeka.
"Hey sweetie."
She looked at me shyly and I noticed her legs immediately started moving, swinging down on the chair as her little hands were under her thighs. She gets so anxious.
"I'm back."
Eva picked her up and sat on the chair, setting her in her lap.
"Morning uncle Jae."
"Morning E."
Eva fed her and after few minutes I felt a little hand touching my arm.
"Hey sweetie."
She made grabby hands and I sat her in my lap, catching Eva off of guard.
Paeka doesn't talk much, and when she does it's just few words. We are all trying to help her adapt to us as much as we can, because we don't want to scare her and push her, because obviously we don't know what she went through before.
She grabbed a piece of egg from my plate and put it in her mouth.
"You didn't even-"
I showed Eva with my eyes that it's okay, as long as she eats.
I played with her, helping her eat, before Blake walked in the kitchen.
"Morning guys. Hi princess."
He kissed Paeka's cheek and she smiled waving, while chewing a little bread.
"You want me to take her so you can eat?"
"No, it's okay. We're having fun, right P?"
She nodded her head, placing a little more egg with two of her fingers.
"Look da- Bakey!"
She said all of sudden, holding cup of orange juice that had little flowers on her.
Blake widely smiled as it caught us all off the guard, because she was about to say dad, and she never did before.
You could see how happy he was in his eyes while he talked to her.
