Chapter 16

(Levi's POV)

"Levi come out already." Eren pounded on the door to the bathroom that I locked myself in.

"No, I'm not going!" I yelled back.

"Your acting like a child. It will be just like the party we went to except we wont be drinking and there will be a lot more people."

"How is that suppose to make me feel better about going."

"Sorry, but I promise it will be better this time. Unlock the door and come out please." I didn't move and it must have frustrated him. "Fine stay in there all day."

I heard loud stomping going up the stairs and a door slam.

"Great job idiot, you just pissed off your boyfriend." I scolded myself.

I unlocked the door and slowly opened the door. There was no sign of Eren so I walked out.

"Gotcha!" Eren ambushed me when I walked completely out.

"You big jerk, let me go." I started to kick and fuss a little but that only made his hold on me tighter.

"Not 'till you calm down." I did as he said and he let go like he promised. "I know you hate crowds and social gatherings but-"

"That's not why I don't want to go." I interrupted him.

"Then what is the reason?"

"You know how the girls were coming up and talking to me?" He nodded. "We'll there was one with strawberry blond hair that was really persistent, she wouldn't take no for an answer."

"So your solution is to avoid her by not going at all." Eren laughed.

His reaction surprised me. "I'm not avoiding anyone." I pouted and crossed my arms like a child would do.

"Then there's no reason we can't go."

"How about the fact that we're grounded."

"Stop being a goody-goody Levi, granny will never know we're gone."

"But what if Hanji or Erwin is there?"

"They'll understand, stop worrying."

Eren pulled me up the stairs and we almost made it out the front door when we were caught.

"And where are my sweet little devils going?" Granny snapped from the kitchen entryway.

"I told you we'd get caught." I hissed.

"Relax I got this." He whispered before giving his full attention to granny. "We wanted to go see the festival."

Were so dead. I slapped myself.

"Okay, just be back before dinner."

"But grandma-" Eren covers my mouth with his hand.

"Thanks granny." Eren said dragging me out the door.
