Chapter 13

(Eren's POV)

How did this happen again?" I asked.

"Because I can't trust you two alone anymore and your parents are on a second honeymoon getting reacquainted, I'm taking you guys to our grandma's house while I'm at the convention." Mikasa stated for the fifth time.

"I understand that much, but why your grandma's, what about Hanji or Erwin?"

"There's no way I'm staying with that crazy four eyed freak and risk being part of her sick experiments." Levi spat.

"And Erwin is busy with work to watch you guys, so granny is the only option left."

"What's she like?"

"She's really nice, loves to bake, but she can be a little difficult sometimes."Mikasa says as we pull into a drive way. "We're here anyway so you can see for yourself what she's like."

"She doesn't have any cleaning obsessions like a certain someone, does she?"

"Watch it brat." Levi smacks the back of my head.

"No as far as we are aware Levi is the only one with that little quirk." Mikasa giggled unlocking the trunk so we could get our stuff.

We all walked up to the door and Mikasa rang the doorbell.

The door opened after a few minutes revealing a frail looking old woman with white hair in a bun and she wore a flour covered apron over a plain dress.

"Mikasa, my goodness it's been a while." The elderly woman said.

"Yes it has." Mikasa hugs the woman. "I hate to leave when I just got here but I have a plane to catch."

"It's alright dear, just make sure to visit more when you come back and don't forget to eat on your trip."

Mikasa waves goodbye to us and gets back in her car.

"So your Eren, your taller then I thought you'd be."

"Yes ma'am, it's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you to young man." She smiled warmly. "Levi show Eren around, I think my casserole is burning."

"Same old granny."

"Watch it brat." Levi's grandma scolds before walking in the house.

"I can see the family resemblance already." I laughed.

He rolled his eyes and we walked inside.

"The living room is through there, the kitchen is on the other side, granny's room is down that hall next to the bathroom and our room is down here."

"The basement?"

"Yes captain obvious, I always stay down here when I visit granny. There's even a bathroom down here."

We reached the bottom of the stairs and I could already tell that we were about to clean.

"It's been awhile since I was here, disgusting." Levi walks over to a closet and pulls out some rags, a broom, and a bunch more cleaning supplies.

"We'll be here all day with your cleaning obsession." I complained.

"If you stop bitching and clean things properly we'll be done by supper."

"How bout a kiss before we get started?" He sighed and peck my lips. "Is that it?"

"I'll make you a deal, help me clean the room and I'll reward you with more."

"Let's get started then."

Levi chuckled and handed me the duster. "Start on the shelves over there."

I did and after Levi lectured me on the proper way to dust he took over and told me to sweep. We slowly got the room clean inch by inch until the room was spotless. We collapsed in the middle of the room when we finished.

"See, that didn't take long." Levi panted.

"Yeah but I used all my energy cleaning, I can't move."

"Guess you can't have your reward then, since you don't have energy." He teased.

"I always have energy for you." I hugged him close.

"You so stubborn." He hugged back.
