Chapter 8

The Boss.

What the hell.

Who was this guy and why is he with this girl's sister? I wanted to know more.

I took my phone and was about to call Luke when someone knocked on my door.I placed the phone on the table and regained my position.

"Come in"

The door opened and Luke walked in. He looked worried. What did he do this time?

"I was just about to call you, I want all the details of this girl. What's her name? Caroline? In thirty minutes, not a second more. Understood?"

"Yes boss" he replied as he silently nodded. He frowned. I knew him well. He wanted to say something, but was scared of my reaction.

"Speak up, Luke"

He was taken aback but regained his composure quickly. After all, people like us could not show our emotions, no matter what. If we do, our enemies will know our weakness which will be our greatest downfall.

"Sir, the girl, Caroline, wants her phone to call her fiance, she said its urgent."

I know Luke. He would not have bought this up if he didn't think it was ok. But this girl cannot be trusted so easily. Besides those messages...

"Tell her no" Luke sighed. He stood up and started to walk out.

"Oh and Luke, the clocks ticking. I need details in twenty five minutes" He just nodded and closed the door.

I picked up her phone again and tried to unlock it to no avail. I sighed. I was getting frustrated by the minute. Who was he? How can he talk to the girl like that. Even I would not disrespect a innocent women like that. Or was she innocent? He said he would unleash his anger on her sister. Would he rape her? Would he hurt her?

A million questions ran through my mind. But if I want answers I have to at least unlock the damn phone. I decided to call upon my hacker because I did not want to call the girl here even though it would be good to see her..

Wait what the..

I shook my head. No, I can't.

I quickly dialed the number of my hacker. I knew it would not take longer than two minutes because he lived here.

Two minutes later there was a knock on my door.

"Come in"

Jake came. As soon as he did I demanded he unlock the phone. Not even five minutes later he handed me back the phone, unlocked. He was good. But I did not let him know that. I simply nodded and started to go through her chats. The recent messages were from someone named Jacob and Ashley. I opened the Jacob's chat  and scrolled through the messages and  I felt a raging anger towards him. It was an unexplained feeling, one that I never felt.

This filthy scumbag was blackmailing her, that to with her own sister. What worthless piece of dirt does that?

I wanted to scream in frustration but I knew better. I kept my composure. There was a knock again and after he heard my consent , Luke came in with a file. He handed me the file and I opened to see a beautiful picture of the girl on the front page with her full details.
