You lightly touched the tattered edges of the book. it was bent and the spine was cracked, but you wouldn't have it any other way.

Alice in Wonderland. A childhood favorite.

You gazed at the cover and cracked open the book. Your eyes glossed over as you fell back into your nostalgia filled memories. A rabbit and a watch, screaming about time. A mad hatter that was either quite angry or a madman. A twisted world where nothing is as it should be.

You got pulled in, forgetting to breathe, to blink. The hours flew by. You hadn't realized, but your mind was playing out a movie. Not the kind of movie that you usually get with books. The one was real, tangible, filling your senses.

The memories swam by. Colors, scents, feelings. It was overwhelming. It was reminiscent of going back to your favorite place after decades apart.

You put the book down and start walking.

Your head began spinning, and you found yourself in the rabbit hole once more.
