"Chris! Stop pacing. You're making me anxious," I breathe out. He stops and looks at my leg, which can't stop shaking.

"I can't help it, I might go to jail if this doesn't go well," I take deep breaths. A hand gently rubs my back. It's Taylor.

"They went to speak to the lawyer and should be back soon," Chris sighs. "We never expected to be here anyway," I grown at this.

"Your fault, you've said that already..." Chris says with his voice slightly annoyed. My jaw clenches at his tone. He walks off, but I can tell he is upset.
