"Come on Serayah." I said nicely. She was sitting in my lap the whole time knocked out. She was up longer than usual last night cause Avontae gave her candy. What ever she asks for he does it no matter what.
She grabbed my hand as she was rubbing her eyes.
"Alright, see you later." I smiled going out the door as Chrissy followed me.
"See you later." She said and I walked to my car holding Serayah's hand.
"Mommy hair pretty." She smiled.
"Thank you." I laughed picking her up and sitting her in her car seat.
"You want to go to smoothie king?" I ask.
"Ouuuu yea mommy." She said and I made my way over there.
Once we got there I held her hand and this dude opened the door for us.
"Thank you." I said and he just did a head nod. He had a little boy with him as well so I guess that was his son. The lil boy looked around Serayah's age. The dude looked familiar I just couldn't figure out who he was.
You know how you can feel when somebody was staring at you? That's how I felt. He wasn't ugly either he was fine.
"Hi what can I get for you today?" The cashier asked.
"Two passion passport smoothies one small, one large." I said.
"Would that be all for you today?" They asked.
"Yea that's it ." I said.
"Alright your total will be $12.78." She said and I paid before she gave me the change back. I went to one of the lil tables and sat down with Serayah in my lap.
"What yo' granny be getting?" He asked the lil boy.
"Umm dat' one." He pointed.
"Lemme get a large banana berry treat." He said.
"Mommy I sleepy." Serayah said and I snapped out of my thoughts.
"You been sleep all day, you acting like you work 2 jobs." I chuckled.
"Two passion passports." They called and stood up holding her hand grabbing the cups and handed her cup to her.
"Sabrea?" The dude came up to me and I got a better look at him.
"Major? Omg I knew you looked familiar." I smiled.
His mother and my mother was best friends and she would babysit me and my sister from time to time. I stopped seeing him around when I was 12 cause he moved with his dad to here which is Atlanta. He was like my best friend. I went from seeing him all the time to not seeing him for years cause after he left we never saw each other again.
"Damn you forgot how a nigga look." He joked.
"You know it's been forever." I said.
"You look good though." He said.
"Thank you, you do too." I returned the compliment.
"Preciate it." He said
"How you been though, everything good?" He asked.
"Yea for the most part, what about you?" I asked.
"Shit. Just chillin." He said.
"Hey Josiah." Serayah said and her and the lil boy looked at each other.
"Da this my friend from jumping world." The lil boy said and I remembered the day Tae took her.
"I see you got yo' hands full too." He said.
"Could say the same to you." I said. "We should catch up it's been years." I chuckled.
"I gotchu, what's yo' number?" He pulled out his phone.
We exchanged numbers and hugged before I left and got back in the car.
"Mommy who that?" She asked.
"An old friend." I said. "That's the boy who told you his daddy sniff sugar?" I asked.
"His bonus daddy." She said and I got that she was talking about a step father.
"So his real daddy don't sniff sugar right?" I asked.
"Right mommy." She said and I looked down at my phone.
