CHAPTER 57: PROMISE

"It's been two days." Chanyeol grossed out, pulling and ruffling his hair. Nasa kusina sila ni Kyungsoo ngayon na pinapanood siyang mag alburuto sa nerbyos. "What if she starve to death?"

"She has stocks in her room, stupid." paalala ni Kyungsoo.

"But we're not sure if she's eating on time."

Kyungsoo couldn't help but roll his eyes. "You're being paranoid."

"We don't even hear a single sound from her room." Chanyeol bolted up from his seat. Di siya mapalagay, kung anu ano na ang naiisip niya. "What if she already hung herself?"

"Now you're being exaggerating." once again, Kyungsoo rolled his eyes hard he almost hurt himself.

Napaupo na lang si Chanyeol tsaka bumuntong hininga. "I'm only worried."

"You like her that much?"

"Of course."

The giant instantly froze in panic once he realized what he mindlessly blurted, trembling at the sight of Kyungsoo looking at him with a grin. "I-I mean, Noona is a good person. She helped us, gave us home and taught us how to survive." di niya maintindihan kung bakit pinagpapawisan siya, di pa niya gusto yung ngisi ng kausap. "Who on Earth wouldn't like such good person?" He went explaining with stuttered words and a crooked smile.

Kyungsoo maintained his straight face with a slight grin. "If you say so." before he gazed through the window, chuckling quietly.

It made Chanyeol snort in great amusement, jaw dropping in utter disbelief. "What were you thinking, Soo? Are you saying that I like Noona? Like actually "like" her?"

Hinampas hampas niya yung mesa bago tumawa nang nakakaloko. Tinitigan lang siya ng blanko ni Kyungsoo.

"Soo, you're really funny. Waaah, my tummy hurts." napapaluha na rin siya sa kakatawa.

"You look pathetic." was all Kyungsoo could utter.

Dumaan si Junmyeon para uminom ng tubig nang maabutan niya ang dalawa at naintrigang makita si Chanyeol na mukhang mamamatay na sa kakatawa. "What's so funny? No one can be funnier than me."

Isang minutong pinilit ni Chanyeol na pigilan ang tawa niya bago niya naexplain. "He thinks that I like Noona."

Nagpintig ang tenga ni Junmyeon sa narinig at pabulong na tinanong. "Don't you?"

That was when Chanyeol cut his laugh, dumbfounded. "How can you say that?"

"It's all over your face." the leader made a cringing face. Nawala na sa isip niyang nauuhaw siya't nakipag tsismisan na rin sa kanila. "You like Noona from the moment you met her. Am I right?"
