"Jin!"

Jungkook barrelled into the arms of the elder, like a small child reuniting with a parent after losing them in the supermarket. They hadn't embraced this way- Jungkook's head nuzzled into Jin's chest as the latter wrapped his arms around the other's shoulder- since Jungkook was a kid. It used to be a daily occurrence, a daily distraction from the hustle of the laboratory but Jungkook hadn't realised just how much he had missed it until this moment.

In fact, he didn't even flinch as the nurse shut the cell door behind them, the dreaded lock clicking into place. This was what he had committed to after all. Eternal confinement. Confinement with Jin.

"You're so dirty," Jin fussed immediately, pulling his sweater over his hand and grime off his face. Jungkook was surprised at how well Jin looked; ignoring the obvious raw marks around his wrists and the tear stained cheeks, he had freshly washed hair and had managed to, somehow, cling on to his old clothes. They were still bloodied from the fight but they were in a considerably better condition then Jungkook's discarded ones.

"I only just had a shower," Jungkook pouted, bringing his hand up to his face as though he would be able to feel the dirt.

"Well you did a poor job." Jin smiled lightly and, despite the half hearted action, Jungkook couldn't help but beam back.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook couldn't help but probe. He wanted to know what had occurred during his absence. Had they hurt Jin? The abrasions on his wrist certainly hinted that.

"No. I'm fine." There was a stiffness to the words, as though he was trying to conceal the truth.

"You can tell me."

Jin ignored him, turning on his heel and holding out a sweeping arm. "Don't you want to look around? It's 'home sweet home' after all."

The room looked practically identical to Jungkook's old cell, slightly longer in length and with a metal bunk bed to replace his old single. He didn't have the heart to tell the boy that and nodded obediently.

The tour was largely lacklustre as they shuffled from object to object, observing the most basic of items. Jungkook struggled to admit that the most exciting thing in the room was a large, empty filing cabinet. He hadn't the slightest clue what it was for (considering this hadn't appeared in his old room) but issued a guess that it was for clothes. It wasn't as though they'd gift them a state of the art chest of drawers and they had to store their clothing items somewhere.

"So..." There was an absent pause as the silence wavered in the room. "What next?"

Jungkook cringed, flopping down on the bed and feeing the scratchy bed sheets under his fingers. "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."

"Oh."

The silence continued.

"Jungkook I need to tell you something-"

"Hayeon's got an enhancement."

Jin spluttered, his brain jittering. They had already told Jungkook that his enhancement, his uselessness, had doomed the girl he cared so much about? He scoffed. Of course they had. Any secret in which MediHeal could sink their fangs into, wouldn't be so secretive anymore.
