Blocking the Connection

Now you can see if you are disconnected from your Inner Self and how being connected results in positive thoughts and feelings and loving yourself more. There are three major things that I have found that block people from experiencing a life connected to their Inner Self.

These are not the only things, but these are very powerful variables in keeping people from reaching their potential. Blame, whether this is self-blame or blaming of others will result in living disconnected from your Inner Self. Distractors, which I consider to be anything that takes your focus away from caring about yourself and going within. Distractors are used for escape instead of healing and moving toward potential. The third thing, your beliefs, may be the most crucial. Beliefs are what dictate your behavior and are generally working under the radar. They are thoughts we end up telling ourselves until they become our reality and perception of the world and they turn into our actions. For instance, if you believe that you will never be good enough for someone, you will have a difficult time finding a great relationship. We perceive our world based on our beliefs. The beliefs come from our mind, so to open up to changing those beliefs it is important go within to your Inner Self and receive guidance in what is true for you and discover what have been beliefs, expectations and judgments of others and may not be what is best for you.
