The ride back to Avengers Tower is silent. Talia wants to ask her dad what happened to her friends, but she doesn't want to push him.

By now, strands of hair are loose from her bun, the bun itself sits low on the back of her head. Her clothes are wrinkled and she can't wait to get back home to her bedroom—it's been too long.

Tony and Tal head into the Tower and go up to the floor where Tal's bedroom is. She makes her way to the small kitchen and grabs a granola bar. Tony sits down on one of the couches while she makes her way over.

"I know you have a lot of questions," He holds out a hand to stop her. "I just—"

"All I wanna know is what's gonna happen to everyone."

Tony takes a deep breath, rubbing his temples at the same time. "Cap's on the run, he's a wanted criminal. I'm assuming Mr Barnes," He spits the word out and Tal narrows her eyes at Tony. "went with him. Secretary's looking for Nat. Wilson, Lang, Barton, and Maximoff are being held at the Raft. Vis is still with us, Rhodey's the same. T'Challa went back to Wakanda. I am here, and you're going to be put on probation."

"So...just like that," She snaps her fingers for emphasis. "The Avengers are over. We're done."

"We're not done, we're just...separated right now."

"Basically my whole family is either on the run or being held in prison." She nods her head. "Nice, nice."

"You still have Pepper and I. And Rhodey and Vision. And Peter."

"Yeah. M'kay. Goodnight."

Tal turns, grabbing her duffel, and heads to her room. She takes a breath and looks around.

Photos from over the years litter the walls, her windows look out over the New York skyline. The girl huffs and chucks her duffel onto the floor.

She lays down on her bed, facing the windows.

She can't help but be conflicted. Tony wronged her, but he did it for her own good and her own protection. But at the same time; he shouldn't have done what he did.

She wants to be on his side, either way Tony is a dad to Tal. Even if she isn't blood related to him, he's still her father figure.

And then she has her friends. Natasha and Steve were always the people that didn't treat her like a kid. Yes she was only sixteen, but she's mature. Therefore, they had always been honest with her and would tell Tal about their previous missions or adventures. She trusted them, and they trusted her.

Talia had also connected with Wanda, she couldn't help but feel a little resentment towards her because the Sokovian had taken her memories. Now she was stuck, without a way to get them back. Wanda was her only hope, and now she can't go to her.

Sam was like an older brother, the two constantly bickering and play-fighting.

Talia sighs, a few tears leaking from her eyes. Tomorrow she would get it together. Tomorrow she would make up all her missed assignments, she would create a schedule for herself with time to finish her and Peter's project and time to continue training. She wasn't going to let herself slip. No, Talia was going to do her very best to stay strong.
