Val's grandfather has symptoms of covid, so no one wants to take chances. Val has classes in the morning, so Lottie and I have been appointed to watch after Dawn.
There was barely anyone in the campus library, so we decided to take her there. Dawn wanted to watch Wordgirl so Lottie played it on her phone. Dawn asked me who my favorite character was, so I said Dr. Two Brains, and she told me he's Val's favorite character as well. I asked her for her favorite, and she said Chuck the Evil Sandwhich Making Guy.
Lottie never watched Wordgirl before this, meaning she does not know a whole lot of characters. She likes Beau Handsome though. Who doesn't?
After a few episodes, Dawn asked if she could play Moviestarplanet. Lottie still has it downloaded from when we last played, and just allowed Dawn to log in and play. That left us with not much to do until Val came back.
We left Dawn at the table while we went to get something to eat at the front desk. Just as we were walking back to the table, Val came into the library. Afterwards we all got into their minivan and drove around, looking for a house close to here we could afford to rent.
