Chapter Thirteen - Beach Day Part 2

Asher's pov.

When my mom finally plied all of us into the car, we headed to the beach. I sat in the front with Tom sandwiched between Kelly and Alli. I looked out the window as my mom, Alli, and Kelly talk about school and shoes and blah blah blah. The thing I can't get out of my head is the fact that Kelly is an amazing dancer. She flows across the floor. I love how she laughs as she dances. Her laugh makes me smile like a ninny. I wonder is she is a good hip hop dancer. I am taking lessons at Studio Red run by Alex's mom. Despised my hate for Alex, his mom is really nice and she is helping me with my dance career. That would be awesome if she danced with me and we had are own duet. It would be amazing. But what if she doesn't like me. I just met her a day ago. Oh god, I need to stop this right now. I decide to turn on the radio. Wild Life by Jack and Jack was on and all of a sudden Alli screamed.

"AHHH I love this song! Turn it up!"

I rolled me eyes and turned up the radio to try to keep from hearing my sister. I looked out the window seeing the clouds past by. All of a sudden I heard a voice I have heard before but I knew I was not Alli's. I turned around to see Kelly singing along to the song with Alli. It was so funny how she blushed if she messed up a word. It was so cute.

Stop Asher, you just met her!

I laughed and sang along.

"Kelly, you should be on Broadway." Tom said smiling at her.

"Why is that?" asked Kelly smiling at him.

"Because your a good dancer and singer."

Kelly looked at Alli and Alli shrugged her shoulders.

"Ummm Tom, I don't think you ever saw me dance." Kelly said.

"Well Asher came up and said how ama...." I punched Tom in the leg to make him stop. "Owwww"

"Sorry, I was stretching." I said giving Tom the-stop-talking glare and he rolled his eyes.

Kelly and Alli laughed. She laughed that beautiful laugh that I would never get out of me head.

When we finally made it to Bob's Crab Shack and I was happy to get out and see my dad stand there in his striped swim trunks and his ACDC shirt.

Kelly's pov.

When we pulled up to a old crab shack and saw a guy with glasses waving at us. We all got out and the man gave everyone a hug and then turned to me.

"You must be Kelly, I'm their dad. Brad. Asher had told me a lot about you." I blushed.

"DAD!" Asher said giving him a glare.

"Sorry Asher, I didn't know that she means so much to you."

I could feel my cheeks get redder.

"DAD!"

"Ok, ok I will stop talking."

"Well lets go in and eat." Ashley said and we all followed her into the rusty crab shack.

----------After lunch--------------

Lunch was great. Ashley and Brad make me feel like I'm already part of the family. They asked me a bunch of questions about my life back in Wisconsin and dancing. I felt really comfortable with their family. The only thing that was weird is that I knew the Asher and Tom was staring at me the whole time I talked. Every time I looked back at them, they would quickly look at something else. I would always laugh to myself. Once we all finished, we all piled into the car and followed Brad's car to the beach. I only took us about 2 minutes to get to the beach. Once we all got back out of the car, I grabbed my bag and looked out in the distance. The beach was beautiful. The blue water seem to curve in the distance. It seem like it was never going to end. Kids were laughing and making sand castles and teens were tanning or playing in the water. Sea shells lined the beaches. I was so happy I was here.

"Yah never been to a beach?" someone asked making me jump. It was Asher.

'Yeah, it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."

I saw he was holding a surfboard.

"You surf?" I asked.

"Na, I think I look cool holding a surf board." he said. We both laughed. "Maybe I can teach you."

"That would awesome." I said smiling at him.

"BOO!"

"Ahhhh!" I screamed turning around to see Alli laughing with tears coming out her eyes. "You are so mean!" I said giving her a light push.

"Whatever, so what are you two talking about?" She asked moving her eyebrows up and down.

I laughed and said "Asher is going to teach me how to surf."

"Oh that's cool, but I think I am a better surfer then Asher." Alli said.

Asher laughed. "Stop Alli your going to make me cry." He put his head and his hands and made a whimpering noise.

I laughed and Alli rolled her eyes.

"Come on kids, lets go." Ashley called as we walked to the beach. I loved the feeling of sand between my flip flops. When we got to our spot, we set up our chairs and towels. The sun was pounding down hard, so I took off my cover up and started to put on sunscreen.

Asher's pov.

I was so happy when Kelly said yes on giving her surfing lessons. I had the biggest smile on my face as we walked down to our usual spot. When I saw Kelly take off her cover up reviling her brown swimsuit. She looked really hot. There was a bulge in my swim trunks.

Oh shit

I could feel my face start to get red and I decided to go take a swim. I ran as fast as I could to the water. But I slipped and fell in the sand, face first. A bunch of people laughed. I turned around to see if Kelly was looking. Thank god she wasn't. She was to busy talking to Alli to notice. I stood up and pretended nothing happened. Brushing off the sand I saw Tom running off the a bunch of other boys.

Thank god, now all I need to do is get Alli away from us so I can teach Kelly how to surf.

I felt someone jump on my back. I knew it was Alli and ran into the water, throwing her in a wave. I could hear Kelly laugh at me and Alli. I pointed a finger and her, warning her I was coming for her next. She shook her head and started running. I ran towards her, sand flying behind me. I could hear her laugh running into the ocean towards Alli.

"HELP ME!" she screamed laughing. She dived into a wave, coming up with a smile on her face.

"Well, yah wanna start your surf lesson?" I asked walking towards Emma.

"Sure." she said smiling and started walking out of the cold water.

This is going to be awesome!
