Aspen and Mark left school and Mark decided to do an early stream, so he went to his room to go do that. Aspen went to her room and put on his stream in the background. She got some homework done, as she was quite behind. In all of her classes she had at least 5 assignments to catch up on, so she decided to tackle them.
As she was in the middle of an English assignment her phone buzzed. She looked town to see the group chat. Tubbo had made a group chat, and they had been texting in it

"Just don't put the phone so close. Duh" Tubbo remarked
"Tubbo, I'm living with someone who is live right now. So, I'm not gonna have my phone on speaker. I'm gonna have my AirPods in. SO DON'T BLOW OUT MY EARDRUMS"
"Alright I'm sorry I'm sorry" Tubbo laughed
The three on them kept on talking until Ranboo ended stream, after he ended it was around 6:30 ish so he came into Aspens room, to find her on FaceTime with his friends.
"MARKUS!! SAY HI TO YOUR PLATONIC HUSBAND AND YOUR ENEMY"
"Someones peppy"
"YUP"
"Anyways, hi Tubbo hi Tommy" aspen took her AirPod out
"HIIIIII RANBOOOO" Tubbo replied
"HI TUBBO" he said again
"HI RANBOO!" This time Tommy said it
"HI TOMMY"
"Hi" Aspen said
"Alright you two are gonna go because Aspen, foods ready"
"Oop got to go. byeee" aspen hung up the phone and gave Ranboo a hug "how was the stream?"
"It was good, I got more rich, which I didn't know was possible"
"Aren't you like the richest person on the SMP?"
"Most likely"
"Ahh. What's for dinner"
"Idk, probably like spaghetti or something"
"Alrighty" They went downstairs and Mark was right. Spaghetti was sitting on the counter. Both of them sat down at the table and ate their meal. They both opted to go upstairs after they ate so that's what they did. They went up to Marks room and sat on his bed.
"Aspen I have a question"
"Hit me"
"What are we?" That question hit aspen like a rock. She knew it was coming. She just didn't know. We're they friends? Friends don't cuddle and snag occasional kisses. We're they dating? Aspen didnt know. They weren't official. I mean they certainly acted like it. But Aspen didn't know if she wanted annother relationship. Her last one ended so poorly, but this was different. It's Mark. He was the person who was willing to skip a week of school to help out his best friend. He would pick her and her brothers up at ungodly hours of the night. He was a good person
"I really don't know. I mean, we're certainly not friends. We're something else. I want to be something else, but at the same time I don't. I don't want it to end like my last relationship did. And I don't want to ruin a friendship"
"Aspen, you will not ruin our friendship. And as far as your past relationship goes, he manipulated you, and made you feel like nothing. I promise that if we did become something. I would NEVER hurt you. Because Aspen, I care about you more than anything in the world."
"Are you sure?"
"1 million percent sure"
"Your gonna have to deal with all my issues"
"I already am"
"Alright then. What do you want to be then"
"Aspen Rayne, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Markus Holland, yes. Yes I will" Mark leaned in for a kiss. This kiss felt different. Like a weight has been lifted. They both new for sure that this was gonna be A-Ok
