Eric P.O.V

I closed my left eye and aimed my arrow in the center of the dart. I assumed it was Skylee face. I focused on my target and threw my arrow towards it. And it flawlessly ended in the middle of the red spot.

"Hah! Bingo!" I exclaimed loudly, although it wasn't the first time I aimed perfectly but the face of the assumed person gave an unnecessary happy feeling.

We were spending our evening time in our favorite place – in the game room. Zack was immersed in his phone for the last hours. When he put his phone aside, he deeply rather dramatically sighed. Then he leaned back on the couch and looked at me, "All settled. Just like you asked."

"You're useless," I scolded, glaring at him.

"Indeed you're, bro," he said, waving off his hand at me. I rolled my eyes.

"It has been so many days and you're still unable to tell me anything," I said, picking an arrow again. "How difficult it is to find a few personal details of her?" I aimed the arrow and it again ended in the center of the dart. For a moment, I wondered how it would feel like if it was Skylee rather than a dart, then again, it wouldn't be me then, aiming the arrow right at the face?

"Like how many days?" Zack said irritatedly. I angled my head to look at him. He dramatically counted on his fingers and said, "Look! Barely three days."

I gave him my warning look 'do-not-mess-with-me-right-now' when I was already angry to the extent of exploding.

Today, she crossed all limits. I never expected her reaction would be so wild. No one did something like this before with me but she was nothing like anyone, she was so different than other girls. I was so angry at her when she ruined my work. But after some time, I was so amused. Then again angry at myself for not being angry at her but amused. God, my fucking brain was so fucking confuse right now.

I looked back at Zack as he sighed, "Look, Eric, I already told you. She is someone special. Her information is highly confidential. I've already used my all connection and now I'm going to use my Dad ones. I just hope he won't find out that I'm spying girl information through his connections." He winced, "It would be a disaster."

I couldn't help but laugh at my poor friend. Zack was the son of a millionaire: a well-known name of New York. Well, he had everything in his house and that piece of shit spend 365 days in my house. The fact was simple, he couldn't get along with his father. After the death of his mother, his father became an emotionless business person and he ended up as a rebellious child.

"Don't laugh!" He threatened, pointing his index finger at me. I coughed to clear my thought as I said, "I wish he will."

"You..." He launched at me as we both ended up on the rug. We punched and kicked each other until we both were out of breath. Then we lied on the rug for a moment to catch our breaths when I noticed something missing.

"Where is Owen?" I asked.

"Last I remember he was with us," Zack said.

"I'm still here," came his voice from somewhere near us.

We both sat up and looked at him.

"Whooo! What happened to you?" I asked shocked at my friend's appearance. He was sitting on over a stole in front of the bar. His gaze was fixed outside the glass wall. His eyes seemed so distant. He twirled the glass of whiskey every now and then. I felt bad for him. His facial expressions were so stoic and his almost black eyes looked so empty of life.

"Why he is mourning like a widow?" Zack chuckled but I elbowed him. He looked at me and I gave him a 'shut him' look.

"Dinner is up!" Rosalyn appeared in the door frame as she smiled at us.
