I'm waiting next to my car on the busy streets of NYC. I look around and finally see Tom running in the distance. He has 2 suitcases in his hands.

"You're 5 minutes late!" I said

"It's just 5 minutes." Tom said when he stopped running and had to control his breath. He drops his suitcases.

"Yes, and in 5 minutes a bomb could go off and destroy the whole city. Don't use that as an excuse. "

"Right."

"Okay, I have your first assignment." I said while giving him a map of NYC and a note with coordinates.

"I want you to be able to read maps. That note contains coordinates, that should make it possible to get to the house."

"Why can't you just use the internet like google maps?"

"Because the power can go out and you have to read maps, and if you don't know where you are, you should be able to do that too. I'm going with this car, you're going with the other. I'll see you within an hour. "

"One hour? And why didn't I get the luxury car? "

"Because you are now the student. Good luck!" I said still frustrated from yesterday. I smile with my lips closed. I get in the car and drive away.

I

get into the car with the map in my hands. I sit behind the steering wheel and unfold the map. And again, again, how big is this map? Almost the size of this old and ugly car.

"All right, where do I start."

I take the cards with the coordinates and look at the map again. Have a look.

"This looks like a math formula." I said to myself.

After minutes of puzzling, I finally have the location. I start the car and drive off to the house. This is really cool. I'm just gonna be an FBI agent. It wouldn't be that kind of hard. I live alone here in NYC. I don't really have any friends. My family is in London. Funny that a British FBI agent is going to teach a British idiot to work for the FBI. I am curious where this journey will lead me.

In the distance I see a car driving up. I check my watch and see that it is on time. Tom sticks his head out of the window.

"Look at that huh! I'm on time! Ha!"Tom shouted from his car.

He parks the car and gets out. He then does a joyful dance. Toddler? Absolutely....

"Well done." I said to him not wanting to be rude.

He comes up to me and raises his hand expecting me to give him a high-five. "no high-five? Okay." He said.

"Pack your bags, I'm not going to carry them."

"Got it" he said while grabbing his bags.

I already walk with my suitcase to the large country house. It has white wall with black accents. I've been here before. But the experience was not enjoyable. I look behind me and see Tom running towards me. When I get to the door I take the keys and open it. I let Tom in and close the door behind me. I look around the main hall. The terrible memories come back on my retina.

"Oh cool!" Tom said scanning everything.

I close my eyes, swallow and open them again. I take a deep breath and walk into the living room. "There in that hallway to the left, to the right, the first door on the left is your room." I said to Tom.

"Okay." He replied. "Where are you going to sleep?"

"Same hallway as yours, but the right door."

He nods and we walk to our rooms.
