Garnet walks over to steven and kneeled to him and grabs his shoulders.

Garnet: Steven, there's a lot that happened in the gem war. Countless of dead bodies, thousands of shattered gems in the battlefield, it was terrifying. Steven, we're sorry we didn't tell you about this and that's because we just want you to be innocent.

You walked up to the two and kneeled down to steven as well.

You: Garnet, I'll handle this.

Garnet nodded and walked away.

You: Steven, forgive them for not telling you about this.

Steven: Did you know about this y/n?

You: They just didn't know how will you handle it if they told you about this and yes I know
